So the PvP mode where you only have 6 lives shared among your team is really fun. Played a game when a friends connection dropped out making it 3 v 4 but we still managed to win. Enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. Just need to gain access to trials

This x10, so frustrating for a PC game to not even have the ability to chat to people in the OC clan to get a Strike/Raid whatever sorted, and got the same as a few others because of this gear curve stuck @ 271 and getting nothing to increase this, odd at present.

We didn't really treat it like TD from the offset. Moved around in a group or would try and flank in twos. We had success until my friend dropped out. Then it was just a case of stick together and call out everything! Made it even better as when we won the game, a man down, my friend used the 'Salty' emote and sprinkled salt over the last players body. Was brilliant.

Or even be able to speak in the social spaces. Massive oversight but doubt it'll ever get changed.
 
Played a bit more last night, think I'm level 15 ow. The gameplay is really fun. The structure of the campaign is a bit of a mess imo but it's ok.

Just want to get through it and start properly gearing up!
 
I just started this today just wondered what settings look best?
I'm at 1080p 60hz with i5 8400 and gtx 1080.

I maxed everything and set it to 150% resolution scaling, turned off cromoaboration and turned off motion blur.

does this sound right or is there anything else I should turn down or turn off to make it look better?

I wouldn't mind toning down the black outlines on everything, is that possible?
 
It's an atrocity you use a a 1080 with a 60Hz 1080p panel... I'm saying that cause I care and not at all cause I'm jealous of the GPU.

For me i had to turn off motion blur, film grain and set the FOV around 95-100. Seems perfect to me.

Its beyond pants, for a multiplayer game in 2017 its shockingly poor. Its regressive and an enormous step back in online gaming. Its frankly disgusting that it ever got through testing without someone sticking a hand up and saying How do I chat to other players? Anyone would think they had never made a multiplayer game before, its a fundamental basic of online gaming.
 
This is my only complaint with the game. Trying to organise a strike within the guild is a massive faff as I have to keep alt-tabbing out to chat in Discord.
And woe betide me wanting to, you know, group up with other players I see doing the same stuff as me.
As a WoW player I'm finding the social and grouping aspect of this game to be a real Achilles heel.
 
This is a console game released on PC with almost no changes. You need to use 3rd party tools in order to organise raids, NF etc. It's time consuming and a lot of people are still very new to this but after a while you get used to it.

I remember when I played D1 on PS4 I had to have a laptop in front of me in order to manage loadouts and search for NF groups and Raid groups.

LOL yeah thanks I will try putting cromo back on then and film off.

That was good, to be honest. Remember the dark days of having to go to the tower, dump your gear in the vault, switch to your Alt, go to the tower, pick up the gear and then FINALLY going back to Orbit to do a mission. Those were dark days.
