US: **The Walking Dead Season 8 - Contains Spoilers - No future content to be discussed **

Yeah I’m done with this show now. When the mid season finale is the worst of the season, it just shows this show is out of ideas
 
I'm watching it now on catch up and reading this to see if it's worth it. It's complete tripe so far, seems it gets no better.

The convenience plots just do me in.
 
honestly. if i hadn't have invested so much time in this show, i'd have ditched but it's almost now like i'm watching it as an example of just how badly a show can fall off a cliff.

i remember reading a few months ago that they'd planned to do another 100 episodes of the show and i have no idea how they're going to do that unless they get some fresh writers in.

i understand that rick would probably be in a constant state of shock, depressed persona etc if something like this were to happen but it's starting more and more to simply look like a complete lack of interest in the show. him going through that window would make a fitting 'i'm out' gif for this show :D
 
I liked it. A few plot holes here and there, and a few things that make no sense but generally I still enjoy watching it and it's not as bad as some people make it out to be. Sure, Rick could have killed Negan in this episode, using Lucille no less but I'm sure he had a good reason not to ;)
 
The ridiculous holding on to characters has gone too far, Rick could have quite easily spent Mr Innuendo right there and then or maybe he was too scared of Lucile blocking the round after big scary man told him not to touch her.

That tearful acting he does as well looks like he's eaten a curry he can't handle and he's now paying for it on the toilet.
 
Kinda temped to go watch fear of the dead instead, maybe it's not as bad or are there season long story arcs in that too instead of 2 or 3 parters?

Tho I did watch first episode and thought it was a bit dull and boring characters. Did it ever get better after that ending where they saw the lad turn zombie?

Least GoT is forcing a ending now with the next been the last season. Walking dead should make so the last one with either total victory with neegan dead and they take over sanctuary or they all end up dead somehow, maybe Eugene finds a nuke and says if u can't play nice then I'll end u all. Lol.
 
Lack luster mid season finale for sure.. Getting to the stage where I might not pick it back up when it returns next year.

fear of the walking dead was poor to start out with but a lot better than walking dead now.give it a go. walking dead now is just worse and worse after each episode.milking it hard now should just get it over with.
 
I did watch just before falling asleep so have possibly missed something but why was Negan alone in Rick's house with just his bat? Where was everyone else when the fight was occurring? When did Carl get bit? Negan wanted the widow, the king and Rick dead, they were his primary targets so why did they let Maggie go free to do as she wishes? Same questions as above regarding coordinated multiple strike with loads of weapons after the previous episode saying they'd used nearly all their ammo to kill the walkers that came in the sanctuary. Still watch it, I still enjoy it but there seems to be more and more questionable content as we go along.
 
i haven't watched the last 2 eps and i don't seem to miss it - looks like i'm done with the walking dead and its because of this season.
 
I liked the houses and things that seemingly had an issue with voluntarily exploding without any hint as to how. Also the random shooting of a fence, only to drive through it anyway, and the weird sparking smoke grenades.

Also why does this series seem to have the budget of a tin of beans? It appears to get cheaper and cheaper looking each episode.
