2010 was especially bad for me.. I was working as a delivery driver in Crosby (the coldest recorded temperature since records began) http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-merseyside-12047595

This doesn't compare, not even close..

2010 was bad I remember but it was not windy.

Today is bitter as hell, no snow or rain just a wind that cuts through like a hot knife going through butter.

I have a layers of clothes on but that wind is brutal.

As much as I enjoy the snow, worst possible timing. Grandmother in ITU, expected to pass away in the next few hours, all planes from the north cancelled, trains are questionable and think it would be silly to drive 400 miles with so many motorway issues. Nightmare.

fair enough, just took a walk down to the boozer, had a few cheeky ones and met my wife for a little walk back as she couldn't get her car up the hills and abandoned it lmao. Quite good this for southampton, and theres no sign of it letting up at all for the rest of the evening. Really wish every winter was like this.

It's funny, MET office all day has just been saying clouds and light snow, it's been throwing it down since 11am non stop.

It’s March. Most of Feb was mild.
