Had him off the line and I even fluffed that run as that was an 11.5s run for me as I was trying suspension in firm mode, made it slower, but he soon came back at me with his extra power and he ran an 11.2s VS my 11.5s, I later did manage an 11.3s but his terminals are 4-5mph better than mine but that is because he is stage 4 tuned with race fuel so circa 670HP and I am still stock.
I reckon I can get 11.2 as it is, then a tune and pulley should put me in the tens.
I know nothing about 1/4 mile stuff as I have never done one, but doing some Googles I found this for my car in stock.
Perhaps I should come to one as suspect it would be close.

I managed a 12.9@115mph once, but was generally around 13.3s, according to the internet it should have been capable of high elevens, but RWD, manual gearbox it really takes some skill to do it and they are so hard to launch.
My mates Mustang with 800HP, his best so far is 12.0@129mph, he has got himself some drag radials, new LSD and longer gearing, so am sure he will be going quicker next time, he is still a manual though so tens probably out of reach. Another guy I know has a Pro charged Mustang with the auto and he ran a 10.9@125mph last weekend at Santa Pod in his Mustang.
You should bring it, you don't need to use launch control just launch from idle like I do and Kindai does, though at Vmax the R8 V10 there was doing launch control every run without issues. Of course if you want to achieve quoted times or google times you need LC, take a dump, no fuel and prey the drag racing gods are with you otherwise you can be disappointed.

Santa Pod is not the quickest track, hence why you see GTR's which Kindai's power running faster in the US, much faster though that is because a lot of US tracks are downhill or certainly look it.
Santa Pod is 2 degrees uphill but surface is good and consistent.
You should come its a good day out mate, today was a real good one, busy but not crazy busy and good atmosphere.

Me too, whilst the McLaren is a show stopper, it feels more clinical where the Porsche is more "fun". I really want to touch it, especially that colour.
This also I think Mclaren have the issue of though their cars are show stoppers and class beating, they are a young company when it comes to road cars so as to say they have a road car reputation to build up, whereas a car like the 911, is like a Mustang, they are 50yr old cars that have their heritage and reputation and as such incredible cars.
911 GT3 is simply one of the very best cars in existence.
On the flip side it is absolutely amazing to see British churning out some of the very best fast cars on the road now. Mclaren with super/hyper cars that compete and beat the very best. Jaguar also doing a good job, Range Rover still leading the SUV/4x4 stuff, Lotus with some real nice stuff still and of course Caterham with the true sports/track car that goes back to the very basics of car handling, which are still the very best.
