Now, I do hope that this forum is about to treat Merc the same way that they treated Ferrari for doing that in the past. I'd hate for this place to show itself up as mahoosively hypocritical...;) :p

F1 is a team sport, so I don't object to some team orders to support that. But it's also an individual sport so I think team orders should be fair to the drivers. Telling Bottas to hold position for his teammate who is challenging for the title mid-season is different, to my mind, than running your second as a backstop from the first race and largely regardless of what happens on track.

I rate Hamilton as a racer, as a person he’s cringeworthy.

If you see his instagram posts - I think his change in personality recently has been down to the people hes been mixing with. I agree hes a few sandwiches short recently.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Hamilton singing "All you need is love!" on the podium.

I always feel Hamilton is like the kid who wants to fit in, he acts however he thinks he should act to make the rappers etc like him.

Whether they actually do or not is a different matter.

Nope, why did Kimi get a penalty for it in Baku last year and Lewis doesn't?

Regardless of which team you support the FIA are a joke with their inconsistencies.
It was a special note in the drivers briefing in Baku that if they do it, it would be a penalty, due to the high speed nature of the entry.

Presumably no such similar instruction here.

People complained about the slicks out for Harambe trophy at Paul Ricard for looking tacky

hockenheim be like “hold my beer”..

Ah, good to know. There's usually no penalty for leaving the track unless they do it habitually or are seen to have gained an advantage.
