Now, I do hope that this forum is about to treat Merc the same way that they treated Ferrari for doing that in the past. I'd hate for this place to show itself up as mahoosively hypocritical...

F1 is a team sport, so I don't object to some team orders to support that. But it's also an individual sport so I think team orders should be fair to the drivers. Telling Bottas to hold position for his teammate who is challenging for the title mid-season is different, to my mind, than running your second as a backstop from the first race and largely regardless of what happens on track.
