Maybe I missed something - I only listened to the audio commentary - but Bottas did have a go at passing Hamilton and failed, and it was only after that that team orders came through. I note that had Hamilton come second, he would still be leading the drivers' championship.

I did not like the team order at the end though, thought it was unnessary.
I believe the replay had the radio call synced.Isn't the playback of radio messages delayed? So we can't be sure when, exactly, the order came?

Clearly the FIA favouring Hamilton and moving the race times this year because Vettel can't drive in the wet.race should have started at 13:00 BST imo
