Warframe... Anyone on here play?

There are many points to the game. I choose to grind everything and not buy it if I can avoid it.

I don't mind the grind, it's the hassle of selling stuff for plat so I can buy frame and weapon slots that's a problem!

Note: I haven't actually managed to sell anything yet..

Sorry for the barrage of questions, I will get on discord at some point, just newborn baby, work, wife etc, not always easy.

So,

Firstly is there an easy way to heal yourself during a mission?

Is there a good tip for the enemies that use poison against you that jsut kills you straight through your shields?

With a mod - you can upgrade the mod fusing endo, once you have done that, is there anyway to roll it back, or optionally select the mod at a lower level? Or to put it another way, if you wanted to fit the mod but didnt have the capacity for it at its current level.

Does fighting higher level bad guys give you more affinity (Im guessign this one is correct?)

Does you MAstery Rank affect your combat ability directly at all? Or just what mods, equipment etc you can use?

Thanks all!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mods - I believe you have to use a duplicate if you don't want/can't fit the better version or change a slot polarity so it only uses half the required number.

Mastery doesn't affect combat ability that's down to mods and weapon/frame level

Healing can be done by some frames (Trinity for one) and the red blobs that drop

So I got to the Jupiter boss, valkry spectre or something. Level 25.

I just hit MR4, Tried it several times with my Rhino, got my arse kicked hard, multiple attempts not even close to killing her.

Switched back to my Mag, hit him with the 2+3 ability combo, she literally nuked herself whilst I headshotted with the Boltor, and killed her.

Honestly not convinced by the Rhino, guess its down to playstyle, but not convinced...

Even the ability 2 for the Rhino, I can do similar with the Mag, hit ability one, which stuns all opponents, I can jump out, recharge and jump back in. The Mag has better abilities vs bosses etc

Maybe I am still a noob, well that is for definate actually!

I'm still using Rhino for endgame stuff. The 2 ability is really good for tanking, but I tend to build around the 3 ability for that sweet damage buff for me and my team. With umbral intensify and blind range, I'm getting over 120% damage buffs, and that's with those mods not even maxed out yet. My plan is to chuck a few more formas on him, and squeeze a second umbral mod on to boost the effectiveness of umbral intensify.

Using Mag for junction spectres is a solid plan. If I remember correctly, that's how I did every single one (Mag was my starter frame). That 2(?) ability that immobilises the target and puts a big magnetic sphere around them is awesome for single-target damage. If I were to try it with Rhino, I'd probably rely on his 4 ability where he stomps the ground, the enemy floats there for several seconds, giving you a nice window of opportunity to unleash the pain.

I've gathered some prime Warframe blueprints, I honest can't remember which, but I have a duplicate for one, think it's a really common one though.

Is it worth trying to trade it in the market? Would I get any platinum and is trading quick and easy?

Managed to sink quite a few hours in this past week, up to mastery 3 and just need to farm phobos missions for another 300 plastids so I can build the last part for my Rhino frame.

Had a great gaming moment when I went to Ceres, didn't realise it lead out to the plains through the gates. Thought sod it might as well have a nosey seeing as I'm there already, got well over my head very quickly and completely lost me bearings trying to find my way back to the village whilst being chased constantly was pretty awesome I must admit :D

I've now almost cleared the star chart - I made a noob mistake and didn't keep changing up frames and guns so I'm still MR7. Currently building a load of new weaps to keep it changed up, and recently built a Valkyr Prime. Absolutely love that frame, it'll obliterate almost anything!

Nice one guys.

Well I logged on this morning, first time I got the Systems blueprint!

Feels good, I have a Frost, Excalibur, and Valkyr all cooking now, should keep my busy a while.

I have also started to drop on the OCUK discord, the mrs is at the coast this week so get some more time than I normally would.

I got a question, at the moment I have a few lith relics.

I ran a few fissure missions with no particular aim, I got some prime blueprints for various things.

My question is, should I be doing this? Or should I be saving up these relics for the future, or be using them in a more purposeful manor?

If it's available, and nothing else stands out I usually choose forma, these are needed for upgrades but also increasing your reputation with the factions. If I don't know what anything is and forma isn't available I jump on what everyone else chooses :D

As for saving them up for later, it may be a good idea, I'm not sure. I once joined some high levels in a rift and we used 7 relics each, they just kept going while I was hanging on for dear life, sliding around gathering all the void drops and mods!

AHH ok, I've been running them solo, but reading up you get more of a choice running with others.

Really need to get in a clan or something, been playing almost 100% solo so far.

Best thing to do with relics is keep ploughing through them in random groups until you have a lot of pieces, then focus on completing sets. Pro tip - don't build the blueprints until you have a full set of the item. If you do, you won't see the number of items owned icon when you next see the blueprint in a relic reward and won't know if you have it or not.

When you need a rare part from a relic, use void traces to make it radiant, then broadcast/look for a group to get all 4 people using the same relic to increase chances.

I've got everything bar a couple of new releases from relics, so burning through them in the hope of getting commons isn't efficient, so I broadcast/look for group for the common parts of relics too.

Nothing wrong with staying at a low MR level if you've found a set-up that works. I will say, however, that my favourite gun in the game is the Corinth, and that's mastery-locked at something like MR10 or 11. Might be worth levelling up just to get access to those MR-locked weapons.

I stayed at MR17 for ages. I had some rivens that were mastery-locked at MR16, and once I was past that, there wasn't much incentive to keep levelling up.

So is this good? I've just noticed it's coop PvE which is my sort of thing. As long as it's not pay to win I'm interested in giving this a go?
