After what I saw on the TV the other day she's better off covering up now.

Man has she piled on the pounds!

Yep really really good. The expanding battersea power station and remote controlled pig brought a lol, the laser prism with accompanying visible spectrum lasers, a gasp.

We went to Earls Court for the Floyd Pulse tour in the 90's but I've never seen Roger Waters, I did really enjoy it...but comfortably numb belongs to Gilmours guitar, no one else really nails it like he does.

It definitely belongs to Gilmour's guitar but I thought he did a really good job. I was wincing a little during Great Gig in The Sky - I think they sort of did their own version as it's obviously very hard to duplicate, but definitely 10/10 for effort.

The thing that I liked the best was that they did songs from the 4 main albums. I never expected to hear anything from Animals and was just amazed when they did (I never looked up anything about the Us and Them tour so as not to see any spoilers), so a nice surprise as Animals is a definite contender for my favourite Floyd album.

It was fantastic though, I don't think I blinked once! :P

Yeah your dead right, great gig in the sky is so iconic now that I really don't think own interpretations should be allowed :p

I was the same same with Animals, didn't even realise what was coming when the backdrop was displaying "pigs" and "dogs" in giant red font. It was only when Battersea popped up and the little pink pig bobbed around did I think "wait a minute..."

It was just a joy though, after Earls court I said I would go anywhere in the world to watch them just one more time and whilst that is sadly never going to happen last night was a wonderful alternative.
 
Haha, yeah it took me a while to twig they were going to do the Animals stuff, too.

I think I was expecting DSOTM and Waters' new stuff, but I thought I'd never get a chance to hear Animals or anything from The Wall live, I just didn't expect them to do any of those.

I'd have been more than happy if they just did DSOTM, but to get stuff from a few albums just made it that bit more of a special performance and the reaction from the audience was just electric.
 
Just heading off to Hyde Park shortly with Roger Waters headlining tonight, so glad to hear the above comments @LOAM @Dr.Eddie :cool:

Just looked up the set list, can't wait!

Saw him do The Wall at Wembley a few years back and that was as close as an atheist could get to a religious experience :p

Though Gilmour at the RAH was just as an incredible experience
 
Got Jonathan Wilson and Father John Misty in October and GoGo Pengiun in November, nothing until then though unless I can find something that takes my fancy in the meantime!
 
I actually thought David Gilmour’s guitaring when he did comfortably numb on roger’s wall tour was a little ropey... out of practice though. Roger’s guitarists are great.

Going tomorrow - tickets at the back of the front centre block :)
 
Went to Ultra Europe in Croatia last weekend (electronic music festival), was an amazing experience, that was my second time there and going back next year for sure. Cannot wait to go back Creamfields at end of August in UK.
 
I just received my ticket to Serenity at Underworld in a couple of weeks time. Can't wait to see them again. And in end of September I'm off to Prague to see Alcest again :) Really can't wait
