Not mine, I've not ordered anything yet
Wondering about the XL now as I hear you can black out the notch with a later update
Mmmmmm
What is the point in the notch then?

Exactly. Just reducing screen space meaning the pixel 3 which offers no real downgrade would be the most sensible and suitable choice. What is the point in the notch then?
I'll just leave this here. lol at that status bar..
So much screen Google said.
Most of it is status bar.

As I've had on many threads, on an android phone the notch offers nothing. It never has.
How do you mean? Surely no matter how deep the notch is, it still houses the notifications?
Interesting I don't think any specs were mentioned at all were they? These days I don't think it's much about specs, it's about the end performance and the software.
The camera does look impressive. That low light shot looked great.
Obviously the pricing is more then we'd all want, but at the same time, I think I paid £819 for the original Pixel XL. With the change in exchange rate etc as well as general increased flagship price increases, is £869 that surprising? I had hoped £799 again, but have stuck and order in for the white 64GB.
The notch also exists on the iPhone to house the biometrics/Face ID
Wonder if the galaxy SX/10 will have a notch?
I doubt it very much. Samsung are making awesome hardware. Shame about the software![]()
