i haven't had this code, however i did order the stand with my phone. so assuming that could be why. bit disappoting. is the code linked to your account or can you share?

i do hate the "6 months free" rubbish. what about those who have the service? "nothing"
 
Regardless of the price, it still looks like ass imo. Why even go with the notch if you are going to make it the ugliest notch. Would have been so much better with just a normal bezel. I've not read if the screen is OLED but can the notch be hidden?

You will be able to hide the notch but...at later date.

I think the price is reasonable. It's the price of manufacturers top end devices these days. Yes there is a bit of brand tax, but not much imo. I think if 3 was in the £6xx range it would be (mentally) a much easier pill to swallow.

I wouldn't say reasonable, its just that all top end phones are over priced. So still over priced, but along with everyone else.
 
hmmm didnt google offer trade in deals last year or did i dream that?if i can trade my p2 in and get a p3 i might bite although i really do want top shot. Think its crazy we cant do it on the p2, find it generally saves the blurred motion pic.

Yeah I know, and ironically it's why I went for the XL in the first place. Tempted to move away from Google though tbf, the data-raping is pretty severe.

They did in the US, I don't think they offered it here.
 
Way to expensive for me.

I'm tempted just to buy a Pixel 2.

What I want ideally id a phone no more than £400 but one that will get Android updates as soon as possible.

Any idea other than the Pixel 2?

As for the Pixel 2 it should get Android 10 next year but then fall off support after that and not receive 11?

I'm still rocking the Nexus 5x. Battery life is not good.
