******Official Star Citizen / Squadron 42 Thread******

I guess I'll wait for the new flight model to set up my HOSAS. No reason to go through all that, binding and learning stuff if it is going to all change Q1.
 
^^ This is exactly what I was thinking too!

Actually was looking for my combat stick earlier then thought - it's going to take me at least an hour to get this right.. only for it to change anyway.

I backed this many many years ago, do you need a certain package or something? I don’t have the option to install anything other than 3.3

Go into C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\ and delete the SC/RSI folders within the roaming & local folders. It'll wipe the settings cache just for the launcher, and it'll actually start the download process.

Had the same issue yesterday, I used this little known site called google ;)

I'll never understand how people seem to assume they're a unique case or cant think of a couple of reasonable search terms to find help others have received. People will spend the time asking others for the solution, but not the time to look themselves. Places like Reddit are full of instances like this. I usually find that if i need an answer on any subject, having to ask someone is the last resort because waiting for someone to provide it is considerably slower than just trying to find the answer when its been asked many times before.

Personally I don't see a reason for hotas unless there is VR support so I hope mouse and keyboard stays viable. Add to that the content outside of flying spaceships and swapping between control methods becomes tiresome very quickly.

well well.

If were being honest to everyone. You could google absolutely everything yet there are tons of questions(some probably even by you) about lots of things and topics can you and i could have "googled"

I pledged back when this hadn’t even made its first milestone, as I’ve always been a huge wing commander fan. Played on and off, and still pretty excited to see how this turns out.

I’ve had a look around, but I don’t know if any of you are perhaps more clued in - has there been any indication of when Squadron 42 is due?
 
This game confuses me. Is it out?( I have played tons of elite), there's no real indication on system specs but from reading above don't think my nvidia gtx1050 would handle it well and can't seem to find a price either?
