AMD Zen 2 (Ryzen 3000) - *** NO COMPETITOR HINTING ***

In all seriousnes, AMD already won me over with Ryzen 2000. Therefore I'm buying Ryzen 3000 regardless so even a tiny improvement would be a bonus. My main interest with CES is because I want AMD as a company to succeed and make a comeback like the good old days. I also want to see the smug grin wiped off the face of every Intel fanboi in the comments of every AMD/Intel comparison video on YouTube. I'm also very interested in Navi because I've currently no idea what my next GPU will be (the leaks definitely have fake prices).

I've already got engineering requests to design, build and test a good deal of whatever is released, especially if there is a 50w 6c/12 part thrown in the mix. Plenty of time to sort them all out assuming early Q2 release, if it's end of Feb for some then I best get some of the other projects I am currently on hurried along. :)

I see wccf claiming they had an exclusive previously... Is that actually true, or was the leak before them?

Dec 4th - AdoredTV posts the video:

On the same day, Wccftech write:

AMD is allegedly preparing 10 new unbelievable Ryzen 3000 series CPUs, including a 16 core with a mind-boggling 5.1GHz clock speed. More than a month away from CES and just when we least expect it a nuclear bomb of a leak drops on us courtesy of venerable youtuber AdoredTV who has shared a treasure trove of details regarding AMD’s upcoming Zen 2 based Ryzen 3000 series CPUs.

He also dropped a massive leak about the specs, pricing & performance of AMD’s upcoming RX 3080, 3070 & 3060 7nm Navi graphics card lineup, which is set to take on NVIDIA’s RTX 2070, GTX 1070 & GTX 1060.

On the 24th Dec, Wccftech writes again:

I have received confirmation that AMD will be launching 3 classes of product at their CES keynote: the Ryzen 3000 Series CPUs, Ryzen 3000 Series (APUs?) with Vega Graphics and a consumer Radeon graphics card – which is probably the Radeon Vega II. Lisa will also be talking in depth about AMD’s 7nm progress at the CES keynote.

They write the same article 3 times a week and each time claim it as an exclusive. The only thing that differs is the structure of the article's name. For example: "Exusive. AMD to launch Ryzen 3000 at CES." "Exclusive: CES launch for Ryzen 3000." "Ryzen 3000. Its coming sooner than you think. Launch at CES, Exclusive."

Very excited about today and what AMD might bring to the table, still rocking a 1600 and solid as a rock!

If true the 3600 maybe my next purchase, that reminds me... I've not changed my motherboard in ages still rocking the B350?

If I was with Intel I would have gone though 2 motherboard changes last year alone, saved a lot of pennies with AMD on the scene.

We'll also find out how bulletproof AdoredTV's sources are, because they've said categorically (or as categorically as a leak source can be) that consumer 7nm Vega was cancelled quite a while ago.

My F5 button officially has 8 hours of life left...
