Yeah looking like its stopping here in Southampton. Met office only predict it snowing till 1am so not gonna get much more now.

Been snowing though the night upto about 3 inches now but it is quite patchy.

Been a bit funny keeping half an eye on the BBC updates - since about 11pm last night it has constantly shown it snowing upto 3 hours in the future and every hour or so that goes by it is still showing it as snowing for upto the next 3 hours. Also lowest temperature for here Saturday has gone from -1C to -5C.

Huge anticlimax here, supposed to be 2-6 cm of snow from 6pm, hadn't even started at midnight and a dusting overnight.
I should have been a weather reporter, you can just say whatever the **** you like.

Well in East Grinstead there's about 1 inch on the paths. Main roads are wet n normal. Side roads are a mix of slush and slight snow. 2 trains cancelled apparently due to faults. Yeah right Southern/Thameslink. Heard that one before.

Yes, but I'm not expected in work until Tuesday, as luck would have it.

Looks quite tame in Bitterne, but I've not ventured out yet, there might be some nasty black ice under the light snow covering.

I doubt it, I'm 10 minutes up the road in Rownhams and there's been a pathetic amount, all roads are normal, snow is melting already.....

Meanwhile in Stafford... no snow. The norm. Not seen proper snow since 1996. "Proper" as in 6 inches or above.

No problems this week thus far, sat in Northampton at the moment and it’s starting to snow, so typically it’s most likely to be Friday that’s borked - nothing unusual there.
