In fact Ryzen Master marks the best per CCX/CPU and the second best core per CCX.
I'm sure CPU uses same data also internally.
Which CPU runs which thread is decided by OS scheduler. Don't know if Windows uses the best core information.

I am wondering is single-thread type tasks would benefit from running on CCX with 2 cores disabled, where there is less contention for cache.

Anyone who thinks they will be anywhere close to a 9900k are delusional.
Feel free to quote me on this when reviews get released if I am wrong.

What makes you think they won't be "anywhere close" when even the Zen+ systems at 'realistic' resolutions aren't THAT far away? By realistic I mean someone paying £500 for a 9900k isn't buying it to game at less than, or probably even 1080p.
