Spec me an ID Card please

Personally I don't want to carry anything in my cycling pockets except my Topeak tool in one pocket and phone in the other.
I usually collect a parcel once every two weeks on my way from work which means I have to remember to take my NHS ID which I don't want to do.
I just want a simple card that says 'This is me'.

Perhaps a Driving License is a good idea so the next idiot motorist who shouts "You don't pay Road Tax" I can get it out and say "Yes I pay your imaginary Road Tax".

Thanks for the prompt reply, but two things, a) on the assumption that you work for the NHS, don’t you have that ID around your neck, or is the card of which you speak, something different?
And b) thanks for giving me something else to Google, Topeak.

I leave my ID in my desk at work, it's safer there.
I have lots of Topeak stuff.

Well assuming it has a case, the card goes behind the phone. Then it's no extra baggage on your bike, as you're already carrying your phone

It's still an important card I don't want to take out with me.
I'll try that Citizen Card and put that in my case.

I thought you were going to say there's an app for my phone :(

How come? If you have your NHS card you can use that to collect parcels.

I've said at least twice I'm not using my NHS ID, it stays in my desk.
The couple of times I used it I left it at home and then I have problems getting access into departments.

That would be cool if there was :D

There is an app called yoti apparently though that's trialling some stuff: http://www.bigdogbedcompany.co.uk/product-physiotherapy-step-system.html

And apparently DVLA have been trialing digital driving licenses for I.D purposes

Hopefully

Hopefully

Hopefully locked away in your desk.

Why no bank card?

The only other option is to be in when you order parcels or arrange a safe place with your postie.

Or photocard driving licence.

You obviously haven't read one word I've posted :)
This has made me laugh.

Haha at least I brought a giggle. I'm only trying to help pal.

Those are the options officially though. Although at my depot depending who you get on the desk the something for you is good enough.

Surprised they don't leave the parcels with a neighbor also that would be handy.

EDIT: Duh! Shops not Royal Mail :D:( definitely didn't not read anything!!

get a replacement work ID and keep the old one in your wallet or wherever

I'm guessing ID's get lost damaged quite a lot in a big place like a hospital
