Hi folks, just bought this ram and it’s great! I was wondering what the height of the modules are with all of the heatspreader removed? I understand that removing the top will bring it down to 37mm, but I’m hoping to shave a few more mm off to fit under the Black Ridge cooler in my Dan Case. Anyone have any insight into this? @8 Pack maybe you know this :) thank you!!!

Update on my timings for 3600 @ 1.44v, these are Memtest stable, 51800 Read, 28787 Write, 50400 Copy, 66.9ns Latency. SOC and CLDO VDDG are both set to 1.1v CLDO VDDP is on Auto.

I have changed the table that I was working from, it now includes the Auto settings from my motherboard (CH7 Bios 2501 AGESA 1002) as well as the figures from Ryzen Calculator for Profile versions 1 & 2 Safe and Fast, which hopefully will be useful as it's possible the Version 1 timings might be stable on AGESA 1003 and later but I'm waiting for Asus to update the BIOS for my board.

To run these ram sticks (3200MHz ones) at 3600MHz CL16, what kind of voltage do we think is needed? I have 1.35v set not note sure if that's good or not.

I can pass 400% HCI but games will still freeze.

I got a boot freeze on mine @ 3600 so I dropped to 3200 C16. All good so far, therefore I'm thinking of tightening to C14 and sticking for now.

whats the best balance between tight timings and freq? i have the 3200 c14 - what speed is best/timings

3600 C14-14-14 2T at 1.4v is a good target on air for 2 x 8GB with no active ram cooling. 3600 C12-12-12-1T at 1.5v-1.65v possible with my 8 pack kit but sticks get too hot after prolonged use.

Basically using the same 14-15-14-14-28-42-288 3600MHz ,the rest from 3433 Fast V1, only difference Power down, Gear down on auto; ProOCT 34.3, the rest auto and 1.5 v (will start decreasing voltage this week).SoC offset +0.00625, VDDP 1000 (or 1v ).

Just got my 3900x and 3200 memory last night. I have had several issues with getting this system running but it is finally stable with the XMP profile. I do have a couple of questions. In my bios under the timings it has numbers in grey and then a box to the right which is auto. I am assuming that the profile is using the fixed numbers in grey 14 14 14 31 T2 @ 1.365v but if I was to bump the frequency and fclk to 3600/1800 and dram to 1.4v would have to still input manual times or would it still use the profile?

Also, is AIDA64 free? I have a trial version but I am wondering if there is a version I can download which will give me the full benchmark results.

@Saltcreek if you bump the frequency up then you'll probably have to loosen the timings - try 16-16-16-16-36. You may also need to run at 1.4v on the RAM for 3600MHz.

Aida64 is not free.

Thank you for the reply. I have noticed that my Cache benchmarks (get all but 1 in the trial) are about 500 to 1000 GB/s higher than what I am seeing in this thread, is that a trial version quirk? Unfortunately I do not get the latency for the L2/3 but the L1 is coming in at 0.9 ns.
