Show Us Your Motors!

Bought this last night. I have wanted one for many years and figured I should just get it. At first I was only looking for a JZA70 with the 1JZ engine, but after reading up, the MA70 isn't a bad car providing it's had some remedial work done like the HG.
Anyway, this one is well documented on the MK3 Supra FB page and is in excellent condition. Arches are clean, the paint needs some attention in certain areas but it's mechanically sound. From what I know:

UK Model
JDM rear lights
Wind deflectors (not sure on these)
BC coilovers
metal headgasket and ARP stud bolts
hybrid turbo with new seals
new droplinks and track rods
Retrofitted digi-dash (this was a must for me)
Blitz Nur Spec R (needs a baffle, my ears can't take it)
Silicon hoses
Mishimoto radiator
HKS SSQ BOV
Short shift
HKS FRB

I think there's lots of other things that I need to find out but it drives well, has zero rattles (that I can hear over the exhaust) and looks good so I'm happy. Insurance is also peanuts as it's insured as a classic. The only things I'd like to do is an underside restoration, get rid of and prevent any rust.

My neighbour used to have one of these back in the early 90s in dark red. Awesome-looking thing. Enjoy!

That looks in pristine condition; you could be forgiven for thinking it was a brand new car

its got a few marks here and there but overall I'm happy with how a bit of elbow grease has made it shine :)

Awesome! Which exhaust did you go for?
Don't really see many 370s on here/around.

went for the Invidia N1 with burnt titanium tips :) not getting it fitted till the 6th september though as the wife is making me wait till my birthday :(

springs and a front splitter are next on the list

Erm...isn't that the joke?
The 90s were the last century :p

What? I'll break it down word by word for you. I'm saying he is wrong thinking he's the only one ("No,...") I'm agreeing that with him when he says it looks dated and last century ("... it looks very much like a 90s car ..."). I'm then saying that that fact doesn't detract from it looking great in my opinion ("... doesn't stop it from looking fantastic... "). Better?

I was more alluding to/highlighting the fact that Dis86 seemed to be saying it looked like it belonged in the last century as if to imply it was very dated, when in reality, it can be from the "last century" and still not be all that old. It seemed like he was making a kind if backhanded compliment, so I was being a bit tongue in cheek. So, no real need for the condescending reply, but thanks anyway.

Yay Japanese cars!

Cross post from the Subaru thread....

Picked this up last Saturday. My first Subaru :)

Thanks again to Kosta for giving me some advice :)

Yeah quite a few seem to be popping up now. I wanted a quick estate with a bit of rarity and this was the winner. Other contenders were Volvo V70R (too old) Audi S4 Avant (too expensive) and Octavia VRS (too common).
Good choice, they're very capable and underrated cars. Forester sti is another one I'd be looking at or.. biased.. a crown estate..

Both cars I want to get at some point, there was some at Jap performance show last weekend.

The nissan stagea is another one that tickles my wagon fancy or an Evo wagon
