True. Those were never as good as 7. But they are much better than 10 and onwards for me.

FF9 is easily my favourite in the series, though not sure if I'd want a remake or not... it would depend on how this one turns out with the split up chapters.

Yeah, if this remake takes too much of their resources then I guess it might be a while or they just call this an one off.

The way they were talking about Red XIII not being playable in the first game because he is only introduced close to the end makes me think that Midgar is part 1. At that speed there will be about 8 parts!

Each part is going to have 40 hours of content.

I have just read that the first part will end leaving Midgar so unless they add in a ton of stuff there's not 40 hours of content there. We will see I guess.

They have added a load of content, and majorly fleshed out Midgar. Don’t worry. There will be about 40 hours-ish of content.

Theres more of Midgar in this one, boss fights seem to take ages as well.

40hrs will be generous imo and it will be more like 20 - 30hrs to the normal person.

40 hours my arse, its a total rip off. Near enough full price for a portion of a game, they are taking fans for mugs.

No problem at all with sidequests, as long as they are enjoyable and not repetitive. I won't buy it until the entire game is out anyway so it's not a huge deal.
