NR200 Owner's Thread

I decided to make an account and share my completed build as I have been following this thread quite closely.

Kraken x63 was a snug fit. I had to mount it with the tubes closest to the front of the case. I am not entirely happy with the cable management and may revisit it but for my first ITX build I think it is passable. The SATA cable and most fan connections are hidden behind the front panel. There is also a Noctua fan controller just above and to the right of the PSU.

is there a way you can take a picture from above, to see the clearence between the cpu/pump and the radiator?, you are the first to post with an aio.

Not sure but I would guess not. It is a long pin with a screw at the end to fasten it to the fan. I won't clip my cable ties to try but I would guess a 15mm fan would not sit well.

Build finished last night, but most of the photos I took last night were terrible. Got some better ones now so I'll actually share my build!
Ryzen 5 2600, Gigabyte X570 Aorus, 16GB Teamgroup DDR3000, GTX1070, Corsair SFX 600 Platinum, Samsung 970 Evo NVME, Crucial 2TB SSD.
Using the stock AMD cooler for now. I was previously using an Arctic Freezer 34 but that won't fit with the glass panel. Think it's even touching the vented panel. Could have gone with a 120mm AIO I had, but couldn't find a good way to fit it in whilst keeping the window with how inflexible the tubing is.

Nice case to build in, cable management really easy. Initially thought the cabling under the powersupply would be a mess and press against the graphics card - but the velcro straps do a great job of keeping it in place. The included 120mm fans don't seem great, noisy for the air they push and lots of vibration which makes the whole top panel resonate when at high rpm.

Yep, stock cables @Relentless81. The initial bend at the 24pin connector end wasn't too bad, it held it's shape fairly well even before strapping it down. Using one of the velcro straps on the side and then the 2 on the bottom of the power supply bracket allowed me to pin it down really quite tight. It wasn't a quick job, probably spent a good hour or so routing and re-routing cables to get to this point.

Ok thanks, I might have another go now I know it can be done, looks much tidier for it

Damn, that's a super-clean build, well done!
 
Does anyone know if it's possible to mount the two top fans with those Noctua rubber grommets? Should alleviate some of the resonance and shaking if fans are running high rpm.
 
Managed to get a second 120mm fan up top by ditching the PSU cage and bodging a custom mount. The GPU is now running much quieter, and the case no longer feels hot to the touch, so I guess there was a bit of an air recirculation problem before.

Will take a look at modding the cage and making new mounting holes for it at some point, as it is useful.

My H115i (280mm) doesn't fit... at least for me, but I have 25mm fans on it.. I think it would fit with 12-15mm fans but even then the tube would have a terrifying bend (as it's very stiff).
But the rad is even wider than the cutout from the front so even with slimmer fans you have to play it in and attach the siderail from the outside. Not ideal at all...

I've also tried to put it in the bottom.. I think with a custom, very slim, 3d printed 140mm-to-120mm adapter and slim fans it would fit but not 100%.. at least the tubes are looking more relaxed in that way.

I am going to get a 240 AIO...

man that's a bummer, can you take a picture from above to see where the problem is with the AIO?

I guess you could, but not sure it would make a difference. The stock mechanism already uses some rubber grommets on the top panel.
