I Used the Stock cooler that comes with my 3700x at first, then went with AIO
lots of good Tower air coolers that fit , just read some posts
could it be some B550/x570 boards are thicker due to more layers of copper in the PCB
Making the height for tower coolers a little less?
Or maybe just down to how you install the mounting hardware & how tight you screw it down?
or could be some of the same model coolers slightly taller depending on the batch?
I am so confused haha, I was going for water cooling at first but after gamers nexus video I Changed my mind.
in my country the arctic freezer liquid ii 240 is sold for 150$ and its the official price from the distributor(have no clue why)

With AIO it disturbs airflow, with air cooling tower exhaust is better, but if you can fit a fan on the tower it will outperform the 92mm fan. Exhaust was better because of hot air going out instead of sucking hot air back in like McPhee said.
