** NVIDIA RTX 30 SERIES NOW ONLINE AT OVERCLOCKERS UK (3090 / 3080 / 3070) **

Emmmmm. How...?

Other etailers have pre-orders up (but no indication of how much stock they are getting or when)

At least with ocuk if it says 10+ in stock when you order, you know you are actually getting it.

Or if it says "pre-order, 200 units expected on 20th September" then you can find out where you are in the pre-order list.

I thought nowhere could take pre-orders of the cards yet?

Anyone taking orders is in violation of NVIDIA's NDA and as such breaking it will no doubt see them severely punished and will end up getting no stock, or they are not a NVIDIA partner and which case they won't get any stock at all on launch.

Well they shouldn't hold your money. Are they paying you interest lol? Thats money I could have in the stock market.

I am not disagreeing with you, just stating that they did take the money as soon as I preordered. I didn’t care much, but others might.

I hate when companies do that. Take your money straight away yet the item doesn't ship for a while. They are essentially getting the free interest on your money. I'd much rather have a deposit system. Pay a deposit up front to secure your place then pay the balance on release.

I know which is why I am surprised some places have pre-orders up and are taking them. I wouldnt risk it on the basis it might be weeks before they get stock.

Would much ratter tune in here and F5 it . :)

ocuk have always taken the money on order unless that has changed recently?
That doesn't seem right. I'm guessing it's legal but doesn't seem right. Maybe Gibbo can chime in as to why they do this. I mean there isn't much interest to be had these days so I can't imagine it's that.

There is nothing more exciting than the circus of F5 :D:D

I've checked all the big "reputable" retailers and none are taking pre-orders yet. So god knows where you are ordering them from but .....good luck....

I don't think they wil release a "20gb 3080". Why would they? I suspect.

3080 - 10GB - £699
3080 Super - 16GB - £899
3080Ti - 20GB - £1199

They would because 10gb isn't enough, it's quite simple, this time next year when new triple AAA titles are released that 10gb will be gone before you blink.

Cant post where because against forum rules and I have no confidence that they will deliver on launch date but you havent checked all the big "reputable" retailers as clearly you have missed one of the biggest.
