Gibbo said it will be open for orders and pre-orders on launch day. Obviously if you arent quick enough and buy something in stock you will have to join the pre-order list. On subject to demand that might be a day or two or weeks/months depending where you are on the pre-order list.

Some higher end boards will no doubt just be pre-order on launch day.

I think the only issue there is your "3080 Super" as the current memory configuration will only allow 10 or 20Gb however, the 3070 could have 16Gb.....

I reckon the 3080Ti will more likely be a 3090 with 12Gb and maybe a couple of bits lasered off....

Thing is by then I will probably have already ordered an FE. If that happens and the FE is not dispatched by the time Gibbo confirms he has stock for the 18th, I will cancel the fe and order that. Basically at this point I feel whoever of the two gets me the GPU first will get ma moneyz :p

Same. What I don't want to do is, pay the £650+ on the 17th then be told, I was number 11 who ordered and they're only getting 10, the next delivery is expected March 2021. If that's the case I'd rather just wait till stock is confirmed in the future rather than having the money come out straight away. The word "pre-order" has different meanings depending on how you interpret it and how the retailer interprets it.

Money won't come out your account until it ships.
