Just stop reacting to the few posters winding you up, you're just giving them cheap thrills. Only thrills they can get whilst we wait for our 3080s lol. You've got your order sorted, a refund en-route and original queue position restored - you can't ask for much more tbh.

I guess the only other solution that could've helped your case, other than OcUK cancelling it in error to begin with, is if they could re-allocate your original payment to the next order... Bit odd they didn't sort that somehow rather than making you pay twice.

But end of the day if your only gripe now is being overdrawn, you obviously chose to do that. But then said you're paid tomorrow anyway so eh...

i got that email Friday, day after my order... but i did process my order on the phone.....

I placed my order Saturday morning and got confirmation email a few minutes later. Definitely a big delay in their mail server.

From my understanding, the only "extra allocation" that has ever been mentioned or that I personally expected is due to Overclocker's sway as a large retailer and long-time "Nvidia partner". Their status as an international retailer has zero impact on the number of stock they may be able to acquire because of this which is what your initial post sounded like you were worried about. They were never going to get more stock because they sell outside of the UK - only because they have built good relationships with partners over the years... that's my understanding anyway.

This I did, but no, not for everything. But from what I understand the guy isn’t happy at OCUK (partially*) because he’s into overdraft after buying a 2nd card. To be fair sounds like OCUK did **** up but if it was going to put you in overdraft maybe better to wait for refund to come through before reordering card- OCUK don’t know your balance

yeah they did make a mistake, but didn't you say they refunded you but you just don't believe it? Also, I can admit I am wrong, because unlike some people throwing a literal tantrum, I am not a child incapable of accepting if I have made a mistale. I completely accept I missed the original part about your order being cancelled, so didn't have the context of your earlier post, I just saw the post about being overdrawn and thought it was a simple complaint about not getting updates - this topic is literally going through like 4 pages every 10 mins, so its easy to miss things.

You seem like a really angry person who struggles with controlling themselves, so I hope for your sake that everything gets sorted out, sounds really stressful!

Also just a suggestion, but typing sentences that make no sense like 'Come on don't me thick little keyboard warrior.' really undermine you trying to call the other person stupid Or calling someone a keyboard warrior when you're the one throwing out personal insults- just a couple of tips for the next time around.

Got a reply after about 10 ways of trying! They said they are really busy, have refunded me the original order (I haven't received anything)

It took me 3 working days to receive a refund back on an accidental duplicate order I made on release day. So hopefully if they issued the refund today you should have it back soon.

Refunds can take up to 5 working days to appear in your account unfortunately.

I think that's why I feel so patient about getting mine, until Cyberpunk comes along there isn't anything out there I am absolutely gasping to flex the new card on. I have a 1080ti, so it'll be a really nice jump, but it's not like it's a slouch. I was hoping to get it before the Mafia remake came out, but that was when I was naive enough to think I was actually getting one within a week or so!
