Guy literally just asked for order number then hung up the phone without saying thanks or goodbye. I was perfectly polite, just asked for a refund on a recent order. What a bunch of a$$holes.
Speed service way I like it.

This 100%. I ordered the Eagle card because it was supposedly coming into stock on 23rd at the time of order. No eagles came in on 23rd, so what happened?

Where the F are Gigabyte cards??? im getting ****** why did i ever buy the Eagle that was meant to "come next week"

curious where you guys are on the unnofficial que.... been in 3rd place since Friday 18th for thee EAGLE OC 3080.... :-\

you claimed ASUS revised cards since sending out to reviewers in your last post. That isn’t the case, no Strix cards have been sent to media with 6 POSCAPS. The marketing shots are early production and never saw light of day.

It’s an important distinction as people may assume that reviewers have a different revision, which isn’t the case.

Apologies. My mistake. But doesnt change the fact they have changed from pre production to the ones shipping and that is probably why they are late.

I'd agree with that except for the fact that they take your money straight away. You shouldn't have to wait 7 days just for them to kick off the cancellation.

Under normal circumstances where there isn't a worldwide pandemic, meaning they are operating on a much shorter number of staff I'd agree, that the cancellation should be dealt with in a maximum of 48 hours, however, the situation is far from normal/ideal so I am happy to allow additional time.

Well Im 50th on the un official que for a Giga Gaming OC. So I dunno If I should just cancel and wait for RDNA2. I was looking to get something before Xmas. I guess im done both ways.
Not like ya gonna see RDNA cards in stores this year.

i also suspect this queue jumping is also why OC cant/wont produce an official queue list, as it would make people pretty mad seeing their place in it being pushed further and further back as people change their minds on what card they want based on the latest failure reports on YouTube.
Doesn't work like that, if you swap you will be placed at the end of the queue lol.

Hi, could someone please help with my question as I don’t want to bother overclockers support right now if I don’t have to. I bought a 3080 through amazon pay and now I’m worried that will affect my order time and position in the queue. I made an order at 5:07 On the 17th according to ‘my orders’ on the overclockers website, but the confirmed payment email From Amazon didn’t come through till 2pm the next day.

So anyone know how it works? 5:07 might not be the earliest order but it’s far better than 2pm on the 18th :( also if that’s the case I won’t use amazon pay when I perhaps try for a 3070 instead. Thank you.

honestly I don’t think anyone will be able to give you a genuine answer on that, although i suspect some will try. Nobody really knows what’s going on. Painful though it is I think all you can really do at the moment is sit back and wait or cancel your order. You can also keep an eye on other retailers, but I doubt that will help much. The whole situation is incredibly annoying, and OC are not helping if its true they are letting people queue jump by changing their card but keeping their position, but it is what it is and we wont be able to change it. I hope you, and the rest of us, don’t get to wait too long.

Product we already paid for. You're either a dic*rider or a shill, or work for them FFS What happened to customer is always right?
Homophobic comments on a forum in 2020? Amazing...

I'm not a riding anything of OC's, in fact my order has been placed elsewhere so not a shill either way. I just happen to have a brain and am capable of taking all variable into account.

Out of curiousity could you let us know how you switched to a different card? Did OC assure you that your order time was still valid? We've heard mixed things about that.
Yes, they confirmed both on Discord and on the phone that my order time is valid and I'm simply changing to a different cards queue. Good news for people in the gigabyte queue, bad news for those in ASUS.

That being said, if everyone were to queue jump, they would likely actually get their cards later because there would just be one longer queue. I'll probably be getting this one about a week later than my original order tbh but it's worth it for me. IMO it's only worth changing queue if you actually want a different card (eg in light of these power distribution issues), not just to get a card faster.

What is your order time may i ask
14:16 (original order was Eagle OC with original queue position 29, dropped to 28 before I switched)

That's some hardcore Karen energy. You paid for a pre-order, and you'll receive it when the companies physically make the cards and send them out. OC can't make the other companies produce faster.

Consider your queue position a privilege and if you don't want that, cancel your order and others will be happy to move up the queue.

thats not what people on here are saying. Many have said they have been able to keep their place in the queue. This may not be true, but the only info we have is from those that claim they have already done it
