Ive been pretty much in the camp of 'it'll come when it comes, don't see the point in constantly getting 'no news' updates, but I do think OC could do some very basic customer service stuff to cover the ambiguity of some things - some people are reporting you lose your place in the queue (including an OC staff Member), others are saying they were expressly told they wouldn't. Some people are saying its time of order, some are saying it's payment clearing. I think even if you can't give people lead times (which is fairly understandable given the mess), and you can't roll out a queue calculator, I think clearing up a few things like that would go a pretty long way to calming a lot of people down and stemming the flow of circular discussion

I hope those CS reps were talking out of their arse and the queue jumpers get put to the end of the queue. Would serve them right for trying to be cheeky.

According to OCuk they process orders by time of payment received, so people who ordered early during the first and second day after launch will find, because it took their servers a long time to process full payment, people's order que will be pushed back many days after the day they ordered, it's a mess quite honestly.

I also paid through amazon, and received a payment authorisation email from OC at 15:17 on the 17th when I placed my order. (MSI Gaming X)

I didn't receive confirmation from amazon until 00:55 on the 18th.

My assumption is that OC acknowledged payment at the time of order and my place in the queue starts there - the alternative is UNFATHOMABLE

Sorry for the mass quoting, but I feel it may be relevant to all the above. I asked in the customer support forum the following:

that my position would not be based on the 15:10:23 on the 17th, which is when Amazon said the transaction had started, but rather 00:31 on the 18th when amazon said the transaction had completed. Can you please confirm this?"

and received the following response:

"Q positions are based upon date/time ordered - your position will be based off the following: Date ordered: 17/09/2020 15:10:23 "


So it looks like it's when the payment is started, not when it is completed. Hope it puts your minds at ease!

Like Yer way of doing things . Instead of whining and moaning on forums like rest You actually went and gotten information for rest. MY MAN :) need print screen this to keep reposing for people as they cant find anything

Hey sorry if this is not the right place to ask but I just tried the unofficial queue calculator. It says queue number: 1065 for the Asus Tuf (non oc). Does this mean there are over 1,000 orders before me for the same card?

Yes but you could be less due to the math / cancellations so maybe 600? Who knows.
 
well i didn't know you can swap cards and keep your que , i canceled msi trio on 17th and ordered tuf oc . And was wondering why my que keeps going up instead down. I would like to swap que place then to .

Yes and this is the sad part of not having an official queue calculator and them still accepting pre-orders. Anyone ordering now could have 2000 people in front of them waiting for a card.
