Radeon 6900 XT

That video of Shadow of the tombraider 12:02 on that 6900XT is hitching like hell. AMD still not fixed frame pacing then? IT was the bain of my life in some games on my 7970Ghz

15:30 LOLOLOLOLOLOL!

AMD fixed it years ago. In this case it's most likely either the engine or the video recording, both the 3090 and 6900XT can slowdown in SOTR and actually, across a selection of games its the 3090 that looks a bit rough on the graph although, it has to be said, it is probably undetectable to the eye as both cards deliver great performance.

Thank you for the honest reply, so what AIB makes should I be looking for if I do get a 3090? As I may just get one of the ones in stock on OcUK so please feel free to link if you like.

Do you need a £1000+ GPU? Because now is a really bad time to be buying one.

Honestly no I don't, spoke to the boss aka Mrs an hour ago and said all about it, kind went over her head but I don't need it, or do I really want it if I'm honest, I think I'll wait.

Get on the discord, twitter and telegram alerts, bag an FE for 1399.

I have this one group that I'm in on discord I found at HDUK called Stock Informer UK.

:D I can relate.

I'm so impulsive and if I see a 6090 FE on Nvidia's site. I'll probably go for it as it's what like £1,399.00 so £300 if not more cheaper that AIB, as a student of software development and I'm warming to DLSS more than RT I'll convince myself I need the ram lol

Mrs don't care as we've got enough savings and she's even gone ahead and got presents for Xmas next year for both families. She's a keeper haha.

I'm sure back in the day they were called bfg. There gpus were pretty decent if my memory is correct

Thanks, didn't know that but I had heard of BFG years ago, I now managed to get a Gigabyte 3080 AORUS MASTER so I managed to save a fair bit of money as I'm 1440p I didn't need a 3090 :P appreciate the reply and information.

I've just seen a KFA2 GEFORCE RTX 3090 SG for £1,549.99, never heard of them, any good?

I had a couple of KFA2 cards in SLI until recently. I had to RMA one at the start as it would crash in game but they're based on Wales which made things easy as you could speak to them on the phone and/or get a sensible email reply. Sure, don't have the kudos of other brands, but I can honestly say I'd buy one of their cards again.
