That doesn't make sense. The car is not moving up the screen so why a ghost appears of the rear lights below the rear lights is baffling. Perhaps this is an addition to suggest speed similar to cartoon whizz lines.
Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.
@Wrinkly And the 3090 has 328 apparently.
I've also noticed doing more races & chase sections that the game seems to switch to different streaming parameters for it, and for the worse (ofc). Maybe sometimes it just gets stuck like that.I'm experiencing this too as it is not consistent, it's like something in the engine eventually breaks and it is unable to stream the correct content in.
My suspicions are that there is a max memory limit built in with the streaming/culling. The game has loaded in too much background detail and cannot delete it. This then means some important detail around you cannot load in or is delayed until something eventually gets removed.
It's also possible that the visibility check is broken too. So it is not always correctly detecting what is visible on screen( through doors/behind cars).
Maybe this feature is built around the PS5/seriesX fast memory and on pc with multiple configs it is experiencing higher latency at times loading into memory.

I don't understand the gamers anymore. I see the Digital Nvidia Foundry praising the RT in the game because it brings realism. And that may be true. But good graphics are only a small part of what makes a game to look realistic. You also need good physics and good AI for that. And Cyberpunk stinks on both right now, it behaves like a bad game from 20 years ago. Dumb drivers and pedestrians, teleporting police, blind enemies if you don't follow the scripts, heck you can't even shoot the tires of a car. Probably worse AI/physics than Vice City.
So really what you have here is an expensive benchmark instead of a game. And what is that benchmark showing? Either these expensive next gen cards are so bad that they can't even run a next gen visuals game at 60FPS/4k in pure rasterization, ( but we expect the ~$200 graphic cards on consoles to be able to do that ) or the game is badly optimized. Nevermind about RT and all that crap if you don't have DLSS.
To see people complaining about the "ghostings" and other artifacts with DLSS, is beyond my comprehension. That is the biggest problem with this game? Sure i steal a car and the driver gets stucked in the car and it makes the driving a nightmare but that is fine. Or i get hit by a car and then the two cars combine like in a bad game from the year 2000. Or i can jump from a car/motorcycle at full speed and i will be fine. Or i can hit other cars while driving a motorcycle at full speed and nothing happens. OMG but ghosting with DLSS, that is a gamebreaking bug.![]()
Look at the Iron Sight and on the left side of the gun. That's DLSS having a fit for some reason causing some sort of ghosting. Some objects show this even more during motion. Now to be fair, I don't know if this happens in other games as Cyberpunk is the first and only game I've tried with DLSS 2.0. Might just be a fluke with this game. But it's annoying

As I've said a few times now, it doesn't happen with DLSS off, every other setting stays the same. That looks like TAA, I get it in Jedi Fallen Order, easier to see if there is a contrast i.e. dark against light background. I don't think that's DLSS, or if it is, it looks very similar to an issue caused by TAA
First for me also. I'm not trying to deny that it is an issue as I did see it myself at I think Balanced, but put it down to CPU usage being diverted elsewhere. What hardware/settings are you using? That screen shot I posted is a BMP, so no compression and shows no ghosting that I can see. I would have been mortified if someone had walked in on me while shaking the mouse as I was![]()
I am sorry for that. Not only that i wasted your time with my pointless rant you had to read but also wasted your time with the very good reply you had to write. So because we don't talk about what you personally dislike, which has nothing to do with the subforum we are in, you decided to waste our time with your pointless(to this subforum) rant? Jump over to the games section and copy-paste your own post if you feel the need to scold this game.
hAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAI guess a ray traced turd, on fire is better then native.
My screenshot is saved in BMP as well as PNG and JPG would show clear signs of compression. As for my system, it's a Ryzen 3600@4275mhz, RTX 3070, 32gigs of 3200mhz CL16 ram, Windows 10 20h2. Game settings don't really matter as I can see it no matter if it's on high or ultra but DLSS is set to quality and fps is locked at 74. Doesn't go below that and of course, RayTracing is OFF.
As I've said a few times now, it doesn't happen with DLSS off, every other setting stays the same.
I was panning/moving the mouse while I took a screenshot cause it doesn't show up if there is no movement of the gun or other objects. In your image showing the iron sights, is that just the weapon sway or are you moving at the same time? Perhaps I was looking in the wrong direction with a high contrast image.
It would be good if we could gather some more examples of 3070 vs 3080 vs 3090 in DLSS. I've no idea what the Tensor utilisation is for DLSS or even how to measure. Anyone?
What a disaster! This game was never ready for release.
One of the biggest mistakes in the patch is removing AVX instead of fixing the game so that AVX works properly. You actually want avx in the game.
But I love the echo chambers of the minoriteam saying there is nothing wrong with the game. Which only shows how desperate you were for cb2077. But at the end of the day its just one broken game developed for ampere.
CB2077 only had one job, just one job. Make me want ampere and it failed. It failed miserably when factoring the media, gamer market, and console market is concerned. We don't need to worry about cheerleaders though.

We all know by now that DLSS can simply blur the image. This is because of motion blur
It's a known fact that DLSS doesn't play nice with motion blur.
What is CB2077..?
We all know by now that DLSS can simply blur the image.
You implied as much in your own post. Therefore, I call it CyberBlur 2077 (CB2077). But I also believe it blur's the importance of ray tracing with the latest scandal. But good eye!
Fun fact: DLSS can blur without motion blur.
You did ask, ROFL.Pretty sure I was referencing the motion blur setting, but you'll read it how you want to read it to suit your nonsensical agenda so whatever...
