***Steam Winter Sale 2020***

I’m tempted by the Fat Shark collection with Vermintide I & II but having just got an Xbox it won’t be played for quite a while so may as well wait until the summer sale.

I'm tempted to pick up the three Mass Effect games, kind of missed the boat on these when they were released, but a lot of the recent reviews are negative because apparently you need to use the origin launcher to use them via steam?

Has anyone played them recently to know if that's the case? If it is I might as well just buy them using origin. They're slightly cheaper there anyway but I wasn't too fussed if it meant not having to download yet another launcher.

I play Burnout on Steam and that will boot Origin first so I believe it will be the case.

cheers, anyone played dirt rally 2 ? only have a controller though, jedi fallen order ? red dead redemption 2 on PC for the story ?

Even though its the Steam sale thread but I bought Metro Exodus Gold Edition off Epic for £8.69 with the £10 off voucher and Hellpoint (souls like) for £4 off CDkeys.

Enjoying Hellpoint, bit janky in places but pretty good for a indie title.

Still browsing steam every day but nothing is jumping out at me this time around.

Pretty much everything is cheaper on Cdkeys, always check before you buy from Steam.

Yeah I ended up buying Horizon Zero Dawn and Risk of Rain 2 from CDKeys in the end. Steam sales were a bit of a let down, tbh so were CDKeys and most others. No historical low for Red Dead Redemption 2 etc.
