What a time to be alive.

Downloading now. Annoyed I waited so long and started again a few weeks ago and at level 46 I'm almost done with it again while this patch drops. Probably does nothing though. Hope it fixes one of my bugged gigs though.

Humans will be "star citizens" in reality before CP2077 lives up to the prerelease hype. Humans will be taking spaceships to other star systems just to do a bit of shopping before CP2077 lives up to the prelease hype. The heat death of the universe will occur before CP2077 lives up to the prelease hype.

It's a decent game, but it isn't the game that was sold. It's so fundamentally not that game that it never will be that game.

Yeah they've obviously glued together what they had working to make something of a game out of it - they'd have to roll back so much stuff and start again to make it the game it was hyped to be it is unlikely that ever happens.

I do hope they learn from it and make that game, as a new game, from ground up, though the experience won't quite be the same as if they'd have got it right first time, but I certainly won't be spending any money their way until the proof is there.
 
Barely watched any footage of it as was waiting for the patches. Will give 1.3 a go tomorrow. Still wouldn't have bothered if it weren't for key sites.

I had some weird issue with the game on release where it was rendering 4K resolution at double the framerate it should have been - turned out DLSS was stuck in performance mode or something like that despite being set to quality in the settings (while 1440p was acting properly so not sure what was happening there but the game is so weird in the way things work and don't work).

I actually thought I was CPU limited for a bit with 4K and 1440p at the same frame rate - the starting area for corpo actually renders fairly well on DLSS performance mode other than some smudgy shadows on overhead walkways - until I got a bit further in and was like hang on a minute this doesn't look like 4K. Not quite sure what was going on but with the out the box version of the game 4K would only run DLSS in performance mode but lower resolutions would render with the correct DLSS mode.
 
So regularly seeing fps into the high 40s and into the 50s with this. Expected a little more at 1440p on medium settings. Refuse to drop it any lower as it starts to look nasty. GPU seems to be hitting 99% regularly. Runs around 2000mhz with me clocked also. I'm guessing this is harsh on cpu even though the use percentage wise isn't huge.
 
I found it does run much better on my 6 core 12 thread CPU over the 4 thread 8 core it replaced. DLSS makes a huge difference with this game though.

It's 100% the CPU, and you got hit twice, once because the 3770k isn't really enough and then the 2nd time because with Nvidia GPUs you hit the CPU even harder. With my 6800K it's enough for locked 60 fps w/o RT but once that gets enabled then that's no longer possible, and that's with AMD GPU.

Yes, thought so. May leave it as tempted by 5800x.
 
So just jumped back in. First time since Jan

Starting as a street kid as I have not done that yet.
Overall the graphics are much smoother and I am not seeing anything that G-sync can't take care of.
AI is still stupid though, so nothing new there.

Yeah, it's the CPU as has been said, I have the same problem with my 4790k, it dips frequently in certain sections of the city. 4c8t is not enough, which is a shame given the prehistoric AI and hardly any interaction with the city itself but well.

I shelved the game until I'm forced to upgrade, it was decently fun but I have better stuff to play that runs well for now.
 
The patch fixed certain GIGs I completed not appearing as completed(so didn't get one of the achievements until now),but now Beat on the Brat comes up as uncompleted even though I finished it!

Edit!!

Tried the fight again,and this time I lost the first try,but the dialogue now was the same as when I completed it.

Now when I recompleted the fights,the GIGs now appear as uncompleted.

All of sudden tab won't work with scan and moves to the journal,but now caps lock is the scan button?? J still works with the journal too??

Second Edit!!

Now the buttons have randomly reset themselves back to normal.
