10gb should still be fine for basic 4k, for maxed out 4k possibly not. And maxing out is kinda pointless unless you have something daft like a 3090 or 6900xt.

Not quite sure. Pretty convinced the 1440p guys on here were saying that it was near or close enough on some games. Would be better if some real application could wade into the VRAM actual vs reserved and measure what games are commanding then including it in these reviewers benchmarks.

COD Vanguard Video Memory
Minimum: 2 GB
Recommended: 4 GB
Competitive: 8 GB
Ultra 4K: 10 GB

I wonder if it actually uses 10GB+ with their HiRes Asset Caching. Which can use up to 64GB of disk space.

Edit:
In prior COD games people had to use the: VideoMemoryScale = 0.55 (adv_options.ini/config.ini)
trick in order to fix hitching and stuttering in the game. And that's when 8GB of vram was the max! By default that setting is typically set to .80 or .85. But never 1.00. In other words you never use 100% vram. Therefore, if they are saying you need 10GB of vram how is this going to work on cards that are just 10GB of vram?

I'm interested to get this game, the previous COD runs fine max settings 4K, let's hope this does too.

Lots of reports from Nvidia 3000 GPU owners that they're seeing texture loading issues in Forza Horizon 5 as well. Gonna be harder to claim this one's unoptimised like they did for FC6. Maybe NV really didn't put enough vram on these cards?

Why would it be harder to claim it's unoptimized when the game released today?

Oh, the PREMIUM version got released today with the standard edition on the 9th.

Is PREMIUM a moniker for HD texture pack?

dont mind me guys, just here for the incoming drama :D
Oh boy, every game that uses a lot of video memory now is going to be scrutinized and called buggy or to be fixed in a patch.

Could be a turbulent time ahead folks.
