Loving it so far. Hourglass and Renewal probably my least fav of the new maps. Performance obviously needs work I'm on a 9700K stock,3080 and 32GB@3600MHZ and playing on low with dlss off and getting about 80-100@1440P with no stutters.

Encountered a few bugs today. Friendlies dont have name tags over their head (has happened to me too. Good job no friendly fire), couldn't use any equipment and couldn't crouch or go prone; when I did slide, I was stuck in crouch and couldn't respawn, the timer was stuck on 0.

Game is absolute turd, thanks EAplay and Gamepass for the 10 hour trial, saved me some serious wedge. It gets worse and worse with each release, BF is dead, has been dying since BF4.

It really has to be said again just what superb value Gamepass is, especially with all the day 1 releases too. Never thought I would say it about a microsoft product but gamepass is probably the best value for money platform around now

Have to agree with this, a very welcome return to a modern combat setting, love that you can call in vehicle drops

Judging by this thread it's obvious that there are very few who actually like this.

I can't understand how DICE messed this up so badly. It looks like a side project who got put together in 6 months.

There's a bug with the aa missiles as well, they seem to lose the lock when flares are deployed then instantly require the lock once the flares have vanished. It ends up seeming like you got insta hit in the aircraft by a missile with no warning.

Played 6 hours today and the game is growing on me fast! My eyes are seared from my PG32 1,600 nit HDR in the game, but it looks glorious! Haven't had this much fun in years in a PC game.

It definitely has potential and when things go right the game feels great. I don't really care about the specialists and all that crap apart from the cheesy lines they have. I also haven't had any problems differentiating friendly from enemy so far and I like the freedom choosing your own kit brings. The worst thing about the game is all the fluff and crappy menus we have to go through to get into a game. The matchmaking after every game is bad enough, but it takes an age to get into a game. Finally when the spawn map comes up it then takes you out again to another cinematic and then force spawns you if you didn't select anything.

Dont get me wrong, i am enjoying it somewhat, just wish the bugs and performance would get sorted out, also the hit markers are VERY annoying, HATE the bullet spread, once its all sorted the game will be great

I paid £4 to play this bug ridden half assed game and I still feel ripped off. Well done dice/EA another game launch well and truly ****** AAA my nutsack.

I got it free with a processor purchase - struggling to find any enthusiasm to even check it out, the streams I've watched the combat/mechanics look LOL worthy and a myriad of bugs on display - many of them beyond inexcusable they still exist in a BF game by now.

im enjoying for the most part, perf is fine for me, bugs are too terrible but are certainly their. bullet spread is the only real issue for me.

THat and finding it hard to find portal servers i want.

they need a side filter with BF3/BC2 etc you can do a search for experience but it doesnt work very well

what i would like to see
DICE - EA spilt

microsoft or another company pick up DICE & then go make a battlefield on any ENGINE you want

as lot of the issues is frostbite is crap

the game is growing on my but they need to make the maps smaller or have more things added

hourglass is a good example if the stadium and area out side was closer to the city it would make for some excellent infantry combat instead of a helicopter fest

but did spend two games in the anti air armour and solved that problem once we got our tactics right lots of infantry kills as a unit as well

they seem to make some tweaks yesterday unlocking joining on friends but without a scoreboard you are still not certain who else is in the sever I know you can delve down into the menu to report people its not the same

managed to take advantage of that as well reporting two racist names
