To be honest if Marvel don't find their mojo again pretty damn quick they won't want to waste a prime IP like X-Men in a declining universe like the MCU. They need a strong standalone movie to get people interested again. Spiderman might do this but I worry Spiderman is at the end of it's current journey.
I've been considering this but I kind of feel they won't have aged well. I mean most of them weren't even great in the first place. Only one I'd really want to see again is Spiderman 2.
I never got on with Maguire but that's just general dislike of the actor, I actually prefer the first Garfield one over any of the Maguire movies. We won't talk about ASM2
If you listen closely, I mean real closely, you can almost hear Kevin Feige crying in the distance. It's faint, but it's there. He must be sad you're not going.

I have a feeling Doc Oc will be a good guy in this. "you're not Peter Parker" proceeds to ask why, get the gist of the whole situation, assists MCU Spidey to defeat the bad guys 'coming through' with the help of Venom and the other two Spideys.
Maguire's Spider Man 1 and 2 were brilliant, the less said about 3 the better. Far better than either of the Tom Holland films. The Marvel films were beautifully made but Maguire's Parker has a genuine struggle to be his hero that Holland just doesn't sell.
But I haven't watched Trailer 2 I want to go in fresh I am hoping this is Ace because Marvel need a big hit because I haven't been enthused enough to go and see most of the Phase 4 so far.
