Man invades, man given reward. Unless Macron is essentially re-emphasising the impact of sanctions..

Macron can't solve requirement that Putin asked for - ie restoring the old USSR border lines.
 
No fly zone has started. The NATO drone is currently heading that way. It’s on a different much more southern path than the US drone.

Well, you can fly over it, but it'll now be actively patrolled by Russian forces and they'll probably shoot down whatever enters that airspace.

If Putin were to die randomly then the process would be for prime minister Mikhail Mishustin to be sworn in as president until elections could be held. However those elections would see deputy chairman of the security council Dmitry Medvedev elected president as he would be their parties candidate, so it's most likely Mishustin would simply step aside and allow him to become president straight away.
