Don't see how a peace talk can succeed when one side is bombing the other, feel like it's just a PR thing so Putin can say to China "look we're trying diplomacy"

I mean, can you really imagine trying to take a city - where there are literally thousands of people running around in an urban environment with this sort of gear, dead set on defending it to the bitter end, being funded and supplied by the west, it's a literal nightmare for Putin.

Sending it is one thing but getting it to the right places is another, sadly it sounds like it may be too late to get any more equipment into Kyiv

That might be possible if they agree to a limited part of Ukraine being Russian like Donetsk etc. I don’t think Russia want that. They have Kyiv surrounded and will be telling Ukraine to surrender or else we will destroy Kyiv. I don’t think Ukraine will accept that. Putin will be in a really bad position tomorrow when the economy collapses and he hasn’t taken Kyiv.
