You are talking about plunging Europe into recession, an even bigger recession than is likely coming anyway. And for what? If doesn't help Ukraine, in fact it hurts Ukraine as countries will need to look inwards more and cut aid/weapons to Ukraine. Its like you just want to see the world burn for some ****** up ideological reason.

Poland and a few more say Hi...we're ok ;)

France is ok. It's only the sick man of the EU germany that is playing up and caving in to putin.

Well there's a mildly rational reason for that, the desire to move away from Washington (ex-Soviet countries have far less desire for this) and return to focusing on Europe's continentalism (or a broader internationalism in France's case) which wasn't really possible without Russia being party to it.

Reality (Russia's territorial paranoia) has of course made a mess of that ideology but it will always be there waiting for another opportunity.

France don't rely on russia neither does Poland and a few more.
It's the biggest country of the EU being weak in every dept.

The eu said paying in rubbles is wrong. Germany says we are going to do it anyway....

The trouble with the right and eugenics is they forget that it is the mass of people doing important poorly paid jobs that glue society. Their offspring will not want to do these jobs so that leaves a diminishing base to do the jobs because the right do not want to allow immigration to the country( at least non white immigrants). That of course also diminishes that other right hobbyhorse, the British values to which they talk obsessively. These are points they cannot reconcile.
The other strand of eugenics is what the Nazis undertook. There is nothing in Eugenics that is relevant to a modern society. It is a throwback.

Again, eugenics has nothing to with what wage level people are willing to work for, diminishing menial workforces, or politics, it's an ideology that claims to try and address the decline in health, mental and physical, through selective breeding. Like you might selectively breed a winning strain of race horses, exceptional working sheepdogs, or a family trait of superior mental abilities. You are a RETIRED teacher I trust? ;)

Many older ideas for the betterment of the human race are regaining traction as the modern ones are being shown to be seriously wanting.

There may be some element of this within its doctrine, that opens up a can of worms that may transgress what the moderators are comfortable with. Selective breeding inevitably becomes an emotive issue to many.

As has been shown above Poland would be far from fine. Also Poland isn't the 4th biggest economy in the world and a monster manufacturer. Poland is the 21st biggest economy and a minnow by comparison. Once again you've just spurted something out without thinking it through. The German economy tanking would be a disaster for all of us and the lack of that gas would place even more pressure on the remaining gas market pushing prices even higher. There would be no winners from that happening, just losers and lots of them.
