The last game you completed, and rating.

gears tactics, 4/10 the graphics are great and story is alright but the lack of mission variety just killed it for me by act 3 I was so frigging bored of doing the same forced 4 side missions over and over and over and then when you finish a mission and it forces you to do 3 side missions too progress it just killed the game for me, got to act 3 mission 4 but cant finish it, too boring and just watched the ending on YouTube

Halo infinite, 7/10 its fun and very much a halo game, so if you like halo you'll like this.

Still a few bits lacking. Still no Co-op in the campaign is a big one. And the open world elements were fine but fairly innocuous. Basically just a couple different sorts of mini encounters that you kind of walk past moving from one story quest to the next. Didn't add anything, but didn't hurt the game either.

Witcher 3 the wild hunt, finally finished up the main story, 8/10, great immersive world, characters, setting, soundtrack, the music all superb, game let down slightly by the clunky movement, some repetitive quests, and combat, now onto the DLC

Just completed Dishonored 2 and was quite amazed at game physics and graphics for a game from 2016. Good story and pace throughout and would recommend. 7.5/10

Finished co-op of Unravel 2 through steam remote play. 7/10

Nice little game, quite simple, very basic puzzles and platforming. I feel like the game tried to tell a story but I certainly got none of it. Enjoyed it but just barely, it was always on the verge of being boring.

Elden Ring 9/10 played it through twice on the trot and stopped halfway through my 3rd run. Have never managed to get on with the Souls games before but this was a surprise stand out for me this year, i usually get bored near the end of a game and give up on it as something shiny comes out.

Control. good graphics, good shooter, maps a bit confusing, sort of gave up with it a couple of times, but completed it, although I still have quite a few missions at the end of the game to complete .
I rate it 7/10 and I don't think I'll play through again

Supraland 9/10, what a brilliant game. First game in ages that had me staying up late to play "just another hour..".
Only played it as it was part of a Humble pack and astonishing that it was done by a single developer.
A sort of simple, humerous puzzle based FPS, though the shooting part is not really needed and the only weak point (though supposedly fixed in the DLC & sequel).
Important to play through without using a quide as all the puzzles are logical and solvable. Very satisfying when you do and often face-palming when you realise how simple it was and it took you hours!
A polished game that I thoroughly recommend (and I think free on Epic this week).

Dead Space 2 - 8/10

The first Dead Space game I've played. I really enjoyed it. My only criticism being that the FOV was too narrow.

Mirror's Edge: Catalyst. 6/10

Not quite as good as the first one. Story is a little formulaic but as a free game on EA Play, it was worth doing. Finish it in 3-4 sessions so it isn't long.

Ive never played a halo game before, is the single player bit worth playing if youve never played any of them? Thanks

i just went to add that to my steam wishlist, and its already in my library! it must have been in the ukraine bundle thing... i'll give this a go!

The Looker 8/10.

It is a satire of Jonathan Blow's The Witness. Very short at 1-2 hours but absolutely free. Good humour, good puzzles. Just a well made satirical game, highly recommend, especially if you hated/enjoyed The Witness.
