More young males, more old females, the flip over seems to be about 40. Women live longer than men so it's not surprising.

I was watching a documentary recently of this woman, Norah Vincent, who is a writer, and she decided to live as a man.
She was writing a book called Self Made Man and would live as a man for 18 months.
After experiencing the reality of being a man she soon changed back to being a woman. But the experience messed her up, and later she ended up having an assisted death at the age of 53.

This was the documentary. It's interesting hearing this perspective. I feel sad that she felt she had to take her life.

Sad but it is obvious she had some long standing mental issues.
It doesn't discredit everything she said though, she made some great points in the video linked
I find this kind of thing quite interesting. What's your end game? Do you plan to stay there forever?
I love my kid more than anything in the world but it she's still in our house when she's pushing forty I'd be pretty miffed.
I think there's a point when parents deserve their own lives and space back. But maybe that's an insensitive view.
In a similar situation to @Subzero85 (38, living in same house as Mom/Step Dad) except I'm the householder and parents live with me, as I'm a carer for my Mom and now Step Dad too. Neither of them own their own property. We get on fine, it's company for all of us, but equally, we have our own space too. I have my own "man cave" so I spend what free time I have outside work/caring responsibilities in there. My Mom is mostly bed bound so she spends most of the time upstairs and My Step Dad likes the garden, and in evening he'll happily watch TV in living room.
My end goal so to speak is to eventually downsize and invest any excess money from the sale of the house to help with pension/income etc. No plans to meet a woman because quite frankly, they'd have to be a Saint to be able to put up with me. Great if I ever did meet someone, but I doubt I'll actively look for anyone.
Oh dear. How sad. I read her book and it was good. It should be required reading in any feminist course.

I come across a random Tic-Toc video earlier with this woman who was quite attractive saying she was having a hard time finding a guy, That all the scrolls through tinder or some other match making app she was on (cant remember the name) didn't match her with anyone.
How shallow is that?
id love to know what her requirements are. 
Seriously though on a more personal level, I've been single for a very long time, Mostly because i simply haven't put myself out there to meet anyone, I was seeing and dating a lady i knew for a while but omg she was really really playing the "Hard chase" game and i just wasn't up for games and messing about And I'm glad i dropped it now because i very rarely ever hear from her lol.
So yeah it really isn't a surprise to read that there's a huge rise of lonely single men out there, Too many games...too many high expectations.

The apps aren't designed to help you find anyone but to get you to upgrade and spend money, there is an algorithm which should be investigated by some authority as to the rise of depression.
