True and AMD does have more and more monies on R&D etc. these days. I can't wait to see technology pushed forth by all 3 competing parties, however this might take some time (AMD hasn't fully caught up yet to NVIDIA and Intel is far behind, so far). And seeing how much AMD spent on stockpiling GPUs and CPUs... they do have full warehouses too, it would seem.

Perfect advertising, cause FOMO amongst people. But facts are NVIDIA has been for years undermining AIB to take over (slowly but steadily) sales from them and sell most GPUs directly. Which flights right in the face of "limited edition" statement. I suspect he might be talking about the packaging and not GPU itself (as retail one might look quite different and smaller).
 
So nearly every partner card has three fans on the front, none on the back.

The FE is quite a unique design. Is it better or worse? Cost saving or actually really good? I'm wondering if it would be nosier because of its design or quieter.

Anyone got any insight?

I am actually very surprised with AIB pricing there - it's considerably smaller than rumoured. Watercooled one only £130 more than FE? I expected over £2k for such. Interesting!

Judging by all the interviews with engineer who was part of their cooler design team, NVIDIA pumped a lot of monies, time, simulations etc. into making their FE cooler as good (and silent) as they could. I suspect it might be better than most (if not all) AIB ones, as AIB rarely spend so much time and money on R&D coolers and just go brute-force for it (size) instead.

Don't think anyone will have enough buying power more than Nvidia to keep the partners in check/competitive.

Well that makes it a tough decision with the FE or Suprim for +£300. Gigabyte will be my fall back. Though seeing the Master "only" the same price as the Suprim is tempting. Best get my tape measure out!

Was actually wondering the same as I still cannot buy another 30 series FE card from that "other" place despite the fact they are in stock!!

It would seem they have already forgotten about that switch, then, as there's no reason to lock them down like that anymore. Well, we'll find out tomorrow, I suppose.
 
It seems most AIB's are going to be £1800 - £2000, which is what is expected.
Now Nvidia have launched the expected prices, I now know which cards I will be aiming for.

Smashing the F5 button on one of them on multiple stores should get me one.
