I’d rather a deal where Ukraine gets it’s territory back and Russia learns that it can’t bully the world.

The only deal to be made is the one where Russia pulls out of Ukraine completely, including the Donbas and Crimea, and then Putin and his cronies are dragged around the back of the Kremlin and shot.

I am gravely concerned that Republicans will cut support to Ukraine when they take the House and Senate. Even taking the House would be enough. Zelensky is on borrowed time in more ways that one.
We're in no danger of WWIII, Mr Chamberlain. Moreover, ceding territory to Russia does not end the conflict, it merely perpetuates Russia's crimes and encourages her to take more territory at a later date.

Idiots don't see the big picture, this isn't going to end in negotiation, any negotiation is a victory for Putin, even a square inch of land is a victory, he needs stopped now, the rest of eastern Europe know this because they would be targets further down the line.
Would anything apart from the destruction of Russia? It's not just Putin, others must want what's happening even if soldiers don't.

Russians might detonate a dirty bomb, blame Ukraine and then launch a response.

Hard to say, but I strongly doubt that it would involve starting WWIII, and that's exactly what Putin is relying on. He'll continue to use incremental escalations that are never quite enough to trigger NATO.

They could supply a lot more weapons. I don’t think they really need to much more except keep turning the screw.
Doesn't need to trigger NATO for it's biggest contributors to make a statement with some added physicality.
Is there some context to this?
