PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

The game isn’t making as much money as it once was, and I imagine the team reviewing the cheating reports has been downsized/under-resourced. I’ve had very few obvious cheaters (once wiping our duo with snap-to aiming and through foliage), another with snap-to aiming and no recoil.

I’m rocking a 2.6 kd in duos so far this season, and usually find those who have very sus accounts of cheating are largely terrible players - even with cheating. I really can’t understand the mindset of those who do it.

I'm not a fan, and played it a few times now, although it doesn't come up on ranked thankfully.

Some of it is ok..... But the city area is horrendous, it's like being mini people in some kind of Minecraft creation.
 
Agreed that the actual city area of Ripton is bit of a let down. Buildings are poorly laid out and unintuitive to fight around, and it’s all rather unexciting. Parachuting off buildings isn’t fun enough or fast enough to make it a viable tactic.

Virtually any other town/city part of the map is better than Ripton.

Had a pretty suspicious squad tonight in ranked, they killed 37 players in the match!

I like all the terrain on deston but pretty much all cities i dislike
 
Anyone been watching PUBG Esports? I've been really enjoying PCS7, been really interesting Europe games and really glad the Fellas are playing well too.

Just wish they would include Taego into the mix, or even be really bold and just random slam Deston into there! Gets a bit samey each year with just Erangel and Miramar in comp.
 
Can’t imagine how different the league games must be to public games now. Skill levels are so low in public lobbies I’m running just under 7kd in squads (having played 27 matches) and just shy of 3kd in duos (player over 100). Sometimes you can only distinguish the bots from players based on the loot they carry :p
 
It’s the fighting I enjoy in PUBG, I tend to run towards gun fights rather than play the circle for the win. I find I can have more fun fighting and dying than creeping and winning!
 
Back playing this for the first time in ages and loving it, is there no way to queue for specific maps? I think I've played the newest map once in a fortnight.

No they took that out quite some time ago and itse ********.

Honestly if I could change one thing, it would be to put map selection back in.
 
My mate has a weird glitch it seems. He cant stay scoped in on snipers? He is trying the usual way holding fire after shot but its not working, just unscoping into reload.
I've gone through his key bindings, tried a full reset of them, and reinstalled his game. But no luck.

Any ideas?

Played this last night for the first time in a long time. I had to do some training & an AI match - what's that about?!

What's all the flashy items etc, what have they done? :D
