If you mean the flashing loot effect you can disable it, with a whole bunch of similar loot related features, just look through the options.

The new training requirements were added when it went free to play, although for some reason I did not have to do them.

Yeah the game does look very dated now, especially the way objects just seem to pop up.

How did you find it ? I haven’t played for a long long time and keep thinking about installing it again but with it becoming free to play the amount of cheating is off the charts so I have read much like any free game

Nice if true but I hope they call it PUBG 2 and release it with new maps. Game needs an influx of new players I'd happily pay £30 for a new engine and new 8x8 maps.

Got more than my monies worth from the original and I don't like the free to play model now.

Firstly, needing to do training and an AI match was ridiculous.

We did 1 game, it wasnt all that bad. Brought back the good memories. So many new weapons though!

tbh most the people playing now are all vets so even bad people are better than most normal people. i enjoy it but taking out my fav maps killed it for me. also not being able to select deston only.

they arent making a pubg 2. they just upgrading pubg to unreal 5.0

Then I'd be surprised if it's true, I can imagine that's quite a lot of work for no real benefit

Yep - in our few games, we were killed by mostly Level 500 guys, the people that never stopped playing.

Yes, can't wait to get back onto Vikendi, my favourite map. Will be interesting to see what changes they've made.

Looks like Erangel is popping up constantly, not had a single Miramar or Sanhok today, guess they are out of rotation.

Sanhok is, Miramar is still in.

I think it's Erengal, Karakin, Deston, Teago, Miramar, with Vikendi and Sanhok out, and I don't consider that Heaven or whatever it is a valid map.

I miss Vikendi but not Sanhok, although Sanhok with a VSS can be fun.

I'm afraid we are stuck with F2P. I doubt another big BR game will break through that requires you to pay. Thinking about isn't PUBG the only one that did get popular which required you to pay?

Well, that couldn't have gone any worse. 5 squad games tonight and maybe only 1 kill between three of us. Just kept getting owned in every single encounter. This game can be pretty damned depressing at times.
