World first QD-OLED monitor from Dell and Samsung (34 inch Ultrawide 175hz)

Not having much luck with this :cry:

UPS were meant to deliver it between 11:00 and 15:00 today and it’s still not turned up. Tracking has updated to “by the end of the day” but I’ve got a feeling it’s not going to arrive now. Do they deliver Saturday in the UK or will it mean waiting until Monday?

They do deliver Saturdays yes but hopefully you get it today.
 
Meant to jump on the AW3423DWF when it was £790 (even less with some discounts) but it looks like it has went back up in price :(

How often has the monitor been on 'sale' with Dell?

Managed to get in touch with the depot manager and they’ve apologised and said they’ve now made it a Saturday delivery to make up for it. We’ll see if it turns up tomorrow I guess, nothing has changed on the tracking yet.

Fingers crossed for ya! Got mine the other day and its epic, just need to get the arm I've got for it set up now and sorted.

I tried to get the DW initially but got there too late as it got discontinued so ended up getting the Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 4K with 1200 Mini LED backlight array monitor which is beautiful, Luckily got 1 without issues.

I can't bring myself to get the DWF, I know it's the same panel as the DW but I wanted that sweet G-Sync module :D

How close to Oled are the black levels? Can you use it for text work etc with the aggressive curve? Considered getting the Neo G7 myself.
 
I've run the Windows calibration and getting slightly confused:

On the first screen I'm having to move the slider all the way left to make the bars disappear and on the second and third in having to move 3/4 the way to the right. I've run out twice to make sure I did it correctly and now have two profiles showing...

Was it calibrated in HDR 1000 mode and using the windows HDR calibration software ?
