I wouldn't go so far as to same complete fabrication. There are plenty of places documenting the incrementing count of children dead at the hands of Israeli forces.
 
None of this is really surprising it's as old as mankind. We're simply advanced animals, it will never end. Every generation creates the same variation of people, some power hungry, some leaders, most followers. This is literally the source of the survival of species, biological variation and competition. You can't stop it but you can do your best to avoid the worst of it, of course sometimes you will be thrust into the midst of it through no fault of your own.

If we were as intelligent as some like to think we'd have better leaders and smarter voters. Evidence worldwide points to the opposite.

I wish there were more balanced views and not just pro Israeli support all the time. Again Hamas and Hezbollah are not good people nor are they freedom fighters some people call them. However, when oppressed and backed into a corner you look for hope wherever you can.

It's absolutely tragic and so many young lives and families will be wiped out of existence because of fat rich men in power. It's quite stomach churning to think about that these people use other human beings as pawns.

Ahh, now this I can kind of agree with. Israel is not entirely innocent and has sometimes committed errors of judgement or made mistakes. Who hasn't? But to claim as you said above that they are bloodthirsty is not the same thing.

Ito the blockades, you know that firstly Egypt blockades the southern entry point too, right. The reason both sides give is because supplies for building and enhancing the lives of the civilian population are often repurposed to build tunnels to enter Israel or produce rockets to fire into Israel or other weapons.

Medical supplies or food are often commandeered for the armed wings of the factions. Therefore blockades are often in place to stop arming the terrorists...seems fairly logical to me whilst at the same time being a sorry state of affairs for the normal civilians trying to get on with their lives.

I still stand by my comment but I'll say "some" Israelis are blood thirsty. Some of the indoctrination they go through in the IDF and in schools is pretty harrowing.

And of course it's the same on the other side it's easy to whip people up into anti "something" if you expose them to it all their lives.

And people wonder why people are seeking asylum in Europe....who wouldn't want to escape this ****?

Perhaps you're right I'm a bit biased because of my in person experiences, but I think they still count a little even if it goes against the press rhetoric? No? Either way I'm entitled to my opinions based in my experiences. We all have biases, as you clearly do too - that's absolutely fine. However, you cannot just dismiss someone's lived experiences just because you don't agree with it.

Your responses have seemed very balanced to me, the poster you responded to has come out with the usual ******** strawman tropes to try and discredit you.

This is a terrible situation all round and I doubt there'll ever be any sort of good resolution.

I will reiterate...a complete fabrication trying to forward his own version of reality. Have Arab children died. Of course. But to claim 33000 over 15 years is not a disagreement between classification or a margin of error. The total ON BOTH SIDES including combatants over a 34 year period (1987-2021) is less than half of what he claims is just the children alone.

The quantum is mostly irrelevant when even 10 would be tragic. However, that figure he claims is completely made up and can only be classified as a lie.

It's awful. And so many innocent lives will be lost. And more hate will be spread around the world towards Jews, Muslims and everything in between. So much for progress.

Without wanting to go all philosophical, why would you expect "progress" at a time that Israel is being attacked? This is literally an existential issue for many of its citizens.

I'm not pro-war on anyone, but Israel does not have the luxury of time, and has to act decisively and immediately.

I'm not having a go at you, and accept this is a hugely complicated issue with blame on both sides

Israel is truly guilty of state sponsored terrorism, but let's not forget that Gaza's southern border is controlled by Egypt—not Israel—and Egypt also limits Palestinian access to good, services, and free movement.

So Egypt shares a considerable amount of responsibility for this situation.

Now there we go. I have no problem with your opinions @Freefaller. In fact, I happen to agree with most of it. The previously stated one though was clearly not the same.

You cleared up what you said and that I can agree with. What I don't agree with I could certainly agree to disagree with.

I would look forward to hearing about your personal experiences as they really do add a personal touch to numbers or news reports. If people have a different opinion to me, I can sleep at night. When they make things up though, I get irritated.
