It’s funny you mention that, because that has been actual Israeli policy for decades. They have never been interested in peace. From the horses mouth

That was over 50 years ago, they do the same today. Send in settlers to harass / lynch Palestinians to encourage a reaction then kill / bulldoze and claim the area.

This is all a continuation of the religious wars / crusades. It's just in a modern world where information travels much quicker and many people don't understand where it all started.

It will never end, all because of religion.

If fuel prices go through the roof your food shop will likely go up again, or do you not eat?
The world is interconnected, unless you live in a cave somewhere off grid this will affect you.
 
Honestly did not expect this level of restraint from the Israeli police.


Perhaps if they'd showed a little more humanity to the Palestinians in the past, some of these grievances could have been settled in a civilised manner.

What rational person would think that would be a good idea? The reason people come out in support of Hamas' actions is because they're too stupid or are extremely confident, the saner individuals don't want the hassle or are afraid of the consequences of speaking up.

Hidden in schools, hospitals , etc. Israel have satellite images and than bomb the sites, Palestinians cry it's only civilians there. This gets Palestinians international supports because of civilians dying. Only way they can fight really.
