I would be happy with just the new star map and freight elevators to come in lol!Yeah ^^^^ i just watched SCL, everything targeted for 3.23 (end of March beginning of April) its a lot, including....... yes that thing we all hate, that thing that desperately needs a rework, the new Star Map. 0.0
While watching it, looking out of the Connie Phoenix window looking over a Pryro Space Station behind them, i wondered, wouldn't it be fun is they hinted at some fauna by having it float by...

I would be happy with just the new star map and freight elevators to come in lol!
But if they can release even a querter of those , 3.23 will be massive. I have a feeling this is the last 3.x patch before 4.0
It makes perfectly sense to get all these features into a patch before 4.0 drops . 4.0 should contain just pyro, SM and big fixes/improvements on the 3.23 stuff listed
Sorting what out.?I gave up with HOTAS as I'd spend ages sorting it out only to then crew a ship for the next month and not need it !
It can add massively to immersion though, I do miss it at times but keyboard/mouse are just reliable as heck.
Finally u have your sticks! Extra immersion bro.I just redid buzz killers controls and I'm back in the game. Tried to match where possible to my Elite bindings so it's easier to swap between them.only thing I've changed is remove the z extension on my throttle stick as I find it awkward for the hats and analogue sticks.
What are remaining outstanding core tech missing from the LIVE build? I can think of the below:
Server meshing static
Server meshing dynamic
Malestrone damage system
Vulkhan
Ray Tracing
AI frame generation
What else am i missing ?
The only thing on that list which one might call core tech is Static Server Meshing, without that the game as intended doesn't work, Dynamic Server Meshing is a bonus and as for the rest, other than Vulkan perhaps don't matter a bugger, nor are they things out of the ordinary in game development, they are easy.
