This is why people are losing respect for the police...

I could say the same to you - you're claiming "the issues we have today" are down to immigration. Yes, some of them are, however the vast majority are down to British mismanagement and poor British rule by British politicians, using their sovereign British power to destroy the country in order to line their own British pockets, all whilst deflecting blame to easy targets: "them" - true "British Values" if ever I saw them.

but labour have implied in all their electioneering (and continue) that the poor tory government immigration process has been responsible for diversion of funds from other more worthy projects,
and that they have some golden solution - this feeds the racist protests - if deportation to Rwanda deterrent had been delivered the protestors may have been mollified,
Starmer is seemingly impotent to address this - he's needs too employ some psychologists to help on presentation of policy, and offsetting some of Farage'sdevils best tunes.
... and meanwhile the policing costs soak up the Rwanda monies.

Most immigrants don't want to integrate into the society they are joining. You can see this everywhere in every country, every religion or culture.

Look at Australia for example hundreds of thousands of brits have moved to Perth and made it England in the sun, Benidorm is brits abroad. People only integrate to a certain level and that's when immigration is kept low, once there is enough in an area to create their own community the integration stops. We have seen this over and over again in citys and towns across England. Then these places are like moths to flames, why move to a part of a new country where you have to change how you live, the language you speak and what you think are social norms, when there is already a community built up and you can just slide right in.

There is no solution to the issue of mass immigration in England now, even if we were to go to net Zero on immigration the country is already over crowded, the areas that arnt integrated will stay the same, they have kids and their kids live how their parents live, we have all been brought up this way and that will never change.

This isn't all about immigration either, there's plenty of English people who live in squaller, on benefits and rinsing the system for all its worth, burn out cars and buses, rob their neighbors and in some cases worse than the "immigrants" areas.

The country needs massive reform ( not the party ) from the benefits system all the way up to the government.

I think the problem is We, the people, have never considered the country our own. It's still seen as being run by an elite.

The result is, unless you believe in the people, then the system is a foreign machine (French?) that will constantly run.

So some people at the bottom are rinsing it, just as the politicians rinse it at the top for their benefit. Because nobody thinks it's their money.

It's like when we think robbing a person is different to robbing a store. We're still robbing. But with a store we think "oh the insurance will cover it". Where do people think insurance money comes from!?

I think you're right about immigrant communities not integrating. Chinatown is another good example.

Though I don't think none integration isn't a problem in itself, like Jewish, Hindus, Sikhs communities don't mix that much. The problem is when a community is hostile to the host nation. When they want laws changing etc.

The issue is compounded by the failure of the host community not to defend its own values. If there is no overall community culture then none of the smaller communities have anything to integrate into.

When a British person laughs and mocks British culture and claiming it doesn't exist, why would any community want to integrate into nothing?

I was just quoting the BBC News article.

Unfortunate that you didn't include the bit about the police standing around watching in your screenshot, because it doesn't appear to be on the BBC page you've screen grabbed now:

Video shows men with machetes fighting in street

Video shows men with machetes fighting in street

Video showed a group of people appearing to be armed with weapons fighting in the street in Southend-on-Sea.
The footage - posted on social media on Tuesday evening - showed at least three men brandishing what appeared to be machetes before they and others ran from the scene.
Essex Police said it had put a Section 60 dispersal order in place after "incidents of disorder" were reported on the city's seafront and high street.
Six people were arrested and weapons seized, the force added.

Violent Southport protests reveal organising tactics of the far-right https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cl4y0453nv5o

BBC reporting and verifying what we already know. Facists, including those previously jailed for being in Nazi groups, organised, promoted and attended the riot.

They are planning more, including one in Bristol at Castle Park on Saturday at 6pm. Counter protesters will once again be attending and very often in Bristol significantly outnumber and out fight the racists who come here.

The police have their work cut out for them, but at least they have plenty of notice.

And then...

Perhaps video on its own doesn't always tell the full story without some kind of informed insight to provide some vital context.

You miss my point, the media and politicians cannot be trusted in the slightest to provide any insight or information or context.

You're better off trusting an alcoholic to keep your bottle of jonnie walker blue safe.

If a far right nutzi is ever down in the dumps he only as to read msm. He will read that the far right are everywhere causing mayhem, a national crisis.

Who needs Goebbels with the British media.

“The English Defence League (EDL) could be proscribed as a terror organisation in the wake of riots in Southport, Angela Rayner has suggested.“

Surprised they already haven’t. Perhaps then they can use the same laws they jailed Anjem Choudry for life (correctly) against the higher ups of groups like the edl.

Probably because they're defunct as an organisation.

How can they ban something that doesn’t exist?
Just seen that Rayner suggested it, now it makes sense.
