Cheers chaps, had a look yesterday. It wasnt on 160 so I've changed that and getting considerably higher speeds. Is that congestion or just a poor config?

I can see my 5ghz aps are on two different channels. Should I fix that?

4.0.21 is an RC at the mo, GA is 4.0.20 iirc unless they have updated it today

Is there a way of running a traceroute from the Cloud Gateways? SSH or the debug console both let you ping things but the traceroute command doesn't exist.
 
busybox traceroute does it, no idea why it's not just exposed in the UI. My actual question is I'm trying to find out the IP address of the gateway that I've been assigned via DHCP but "route -n" lists them as interface routes for some reason (unless I'm interpreting no next-hop IP incorrectly) which doesn't make a huge amount of sense.
 
Ubiquiti World Conference is this week (23rd) so I wonder what new stuff we will see.

There is a way to deploy a cert via ssh. I've got a post update script hook on a certbot container that does this.

Just SCPs the cert in place and restarts a service. Then pings me via Pushover to say it's done it.

Probably not and equally contradictory, even if they did, I'm not sure I'd want to deploy one for anything serious.

However, both they (and Mikrotik), are known for bring products that disrupt the traditional market segments and pricing, so it would certainly be an interesting opportunity for a "low-cost" chassis (it's almost an open goal as the only low cost option is the Aruba 5406R that's many years past when it should have been retired)
 
All I need from them is MLAG, a few more proper L3 features and decent (10Gbps+) routing performance so I can run a pair of them as a core/distribution layer with maybe a 25Gb link off each switch going to access switches. Even better if they're half a U wide so you can get two of them into 1U.
