*** Official Ubiquiti Discussion Thread ***

Should be fairly straight forward to add basic NAS functionality to the likes of the UDM Pro etc that has drive bays, then also have a full fat separate box solution.

SMB / iSCSI / Object Storage Offloads / Cloud Offloading should be fairly straightforward, I have been looking to offload my Synology for a while but the offerings are slim with a short-depth rack solution or a all Flash solution

As the 8 lite has a powerbrick, and the plug part is separate, they included a 3 pin uk plug to that smaller infinity symbol 2 pin small kettle lead.

Returning to this, as I said my Lite 8 switches, directly from Ubiquiti, both have a power brick with integrated two-pin EU plug.

I continued to query Broadband Buyer and they eventually said that they supply a "compatible" power supply with a UK plug (not clear if integrated or not).

Are you absolutely sure you have genuine Ubiquiti power bricks with a separate cable and not a third-party one?

I will check tonight but I'm 99.9% certain the brick is genuine, along with he EU power cable that came with it, and they stuck a UK power cable in the box.

I think something like the QNAP QGD-1602P would actually be ace, but annoying as I really fancied something like that but they were really hard to get.

Pretty sure my 8 port lite switch has a power brick with a detachable cable. Pretty sure it used a C5 connector. I didn’t have a spare one so I just used an adapter on the included EU plug.

I’m doubting myself now so I’d need to go and check. Perhaps they have changed the power supply since.

My 16 port lite switch has an internal power supply and uses a standard C13 connector.

Looking at the links @RSR posted, it looks like the Enterprise 100GB has the following ports:
6x 100 GB, although they are marked as two ports so not entirely sure if they can be broken out into 4x25 25 SFP28 ports.
The remaining ports are SFP28.

I hope this comes out soon but I can see the price being pretty silly, and I doubt it'll be able to do anything clever beyond basic L3 switching.

Mine came with genuine brick in the box and extra uk lead outside the box.

7 Bays seems like an odd number (although a much more useful number for e.g. RAID6).

No mention of M.2 Slots though for e.g. caching.

Software will also be the make or break point for this
