Mister FPGA

Yeah, i know what you mean. I do however like using the attract modes like some of the images use like Hyperspin which i believe the Mister is "significantly" more authentic however doesnt have the bells and whistles you can get from running on a PC/Pi.

I get that :). My biggest headache is choosing what to play regardless of menu style. The attract modes are great annimated, with info on the game etc. My systems are always loaded upto the nines, spoilt for choice. End up browsing and playing nothing sometimes :D (regardless of system, although Pi is probably worse for me because I am easily distracted by the bells and whistles!).

LOL Fair enough.. My bartop is coming along and should be up and running at the weekend. It will only have a curated, but still large, library so not only a place to play my fav arcade games but a really nice ornament with attract mode in my home office.
 
Mine was shipped fairly quickly but took a while to come from what I remember. Hugest, I'd be interested in what those cases are like. Did you get a blue one by anychance?

I got a black and acid green one from misterfpga.co.uk and both are really nice, but the blue one looks ace!
 
Kind of worried mine hasn’t shipped yet. I ordered the blue case thought it looked awesome. So will put up some pics for you if it ever ships haha

Tbf if they have to ship out 4000, it might take a while. Only a small number of staff working for Taki.
 
I'm thinking of taking the plunge (don't need one but can't stop looking at them!)

Is the only difference between the Turbo pack and the Mega pack the SD card and the case?

I'd be able to run everything else on the cheaper pack?

I believe that’s the only difference and it’s preassembled.
 
Getting excited to receive mine just ordered a psu and imaged a micro sd card in anticipation…. Might order the nfc reader, some cards and sticky labels as think that wizzo add on is genius. Its a slippery slope though as also been looking at what crt tvs are availed locally lol It’s been a long wait made possible thanks to Taki. My brother in law bought a mister in the early days before the prices went crazy and I could never justify spending the £4-500 to get one.

Still sat on unfulfilled kind of disappointed I ordered 3 minutes after it went live and people have got theirs that ordered many hours later. Also they added a shipping dashboard on the 20th of November that was last updated on the 20th….. What was the point in that tbh that has done them more harm than good. I know they are a small company but I feel they clearly could be doing better and thought about this more before launch.
