Moved some sockets - initially spoke to an electrician who quoted "a day's work" - did it myself. Turns out moving sockets in plasterboard is a simple job!
Dig a good portion of the new front fencing today. I’m doing it double sided with feather edge boards so will do the last few posts and board the other side tomorrow!
I've put my new plasterboard lifter together which was a ten minute job. After fitting plasterboard on my own to my homes for over 30 years I've decided to give up with props and step ladders and make it easier.
It's a cheapo but the amount of metal for the money seems fair, assuming it doesn't collapse over xmas when I've got two ceilings to replace plus skim (and walls). That's as good as I get for my crimbo break
Repaired the side gate which was damaged with last weeks storm
The wind ripped the post out of the wall, now secured with 4 hefty bolts which hopefully won't be going anywhere!
Easy job which has earned me a few brownie points with the wife
Took way too long but was way easier than anticipated. I was trying to center the screen and avoid having to chop chunks out of the structure. Luckily a small notch and some noggins was enough to give the bracket purchase without creating issues elsewhere. Also cleaned my keyboard which was revolting lol. 2 years of DIY grime!
